Turbine Technologies is a United States manufacturer of premier educational laboratory equipment. Our products offer engineering and technical college students unique learning opportunities. Since 1986, Turbine Technologies has been partnering with faculty and instructors worldwide via the design and manufacture of turnkey classroom devices that support educational output objectives in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Services
Our founders, Wolfgang and Marianne Kutrieb emigrated from Germany in 1967. Their entrepreneurial drive lead to the creation of our technology-driven family company. Twenty five years into a second generation, Mike, Tom and Toby Kutrieb now lead product development, sales and manufacturing at the company's 41,000 square foot facility in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Turbine Technologies leads the industry by delivering unique turnkey classroom lab equipment and devices that offer unmatched educational value. Our industrial automation trainers offer engineering students unique learning opportunities via hands-on operation and observation of thermal, fluid and mechatronic systems.
To compliment the impressive hands-on hardware, TurboGen features an extensive sensor suite, National Instruments Data Acquisition System, and LabVIEW Interactive Virtual Instrument Panel, which allows for real time monitoring and recording of sensor data. The TurboGen Interactive Virtual Instrument (VI) Panel is a high-powered extension of the system's main operator control panel.
Primary components include a multi-pass boiler, axial-flow steam turbine, AC/DC generator and condenser tower. The RankineCycler steam turbine power plant utilizes beautifully-crafted working components. Sensors are installed at all key locations and measure temperatures, pressures, fuel-flow rate (energy input) and electrical energy output.
