Sharp Minds Academy is an inclusive educational center in Missouri City located in the Riverstone and Sienna Communities. Providing quality preschool and kindergarten education to every student who walks into our doors is our number one priority. Our focus is on inclusive and all-round development for all kids, regardless of their talents, competencies or age.
Let your kid learn to love school! At Sharp Minds Academy, we lay the foundation of a solid preschool education by exposing children to academic skills and hands-on STEAM activities. Our balanced curriculum is based on the Texas Education System (TEKs) and STEAM/hands-on activities. We combine play, skill-building, social-emotional development and structured academics to promote your child's success.
At Sharp Minds Academy, we provide kids with a fun-filled and innovative environment called "Dreammaker's Space". We understand and embrace the reality that every child is unique and has limitless potential and talent.
Our Learning Differences platform is a bridge program for preschool-aged children to successfully transition into an elementary school setting, and is designed for children with specific needs such as Autism, ADHD, Limited Speech, or any Development Delays, who have aged out of Early Childhood.

We offer one-to-one instruction, small-group study sessions and online tutoring for Grades K-8 for all children including those with learning differences. Your child can continue learning at home or in-center while engaging face-to-face with experienced teachers who create a personal learning plan that "adapts" to your child's skill level.
Children between the ages of 2.5 and 6 years are eligible for enrollment at Sharp Minds Academy, depending on the number of seats available. We are eager and excited to meet every child and discuss how our preschool and learning differences programs can benefit and complement your child's early development.

My son started at Sharp Minds Academy in November of 2021 after a not so great experience at the Goddard Sienna. I wanted to wait to write this review in order to develop a true impression. This school has been everything and then some, a true gem. My son is in the Learning Differences program. He doesn't have a developmental diagnosis other than a speech delay, however after being born 3 months early, the small class size works best for him with the added attention he's able to get. The owners, Ms. Somy & Ciji are amazing and super hands on with the students as well. They are able to tell me how

Sharp Minds Academy has been more than just child-care for us. My wife stayed home to take care of our two children and it was hard for us to leave them to child-care, but the staff and owners were very supportive every step of the way. My son has learned so much from the great teachers here and is doing great at kindergarten because of the same reason. My daughter has always been shy but her teachers Ms Tara and Ms Jijin make her feel very secure and safe & they are extremely patient with her. With the proper care and attention, she is now very social and interacts so well with other children

Highly recommend Sharp Minds Academy. My daughter attended preschool here last year. She was very well prepared for kindergarten this year. She learned sight words, math, spanish, and can write 3 letter words. They have tons of activities to keep them engaged and busy. Teachers give timely reports and feedback on performance. For parents who are looking for a good preschool there is no need to look elsewhere or think about another school. Sharp Minds Academy is your preschool!

I can’t say enough good things about Sharp Minds Academy. Their teachers and management personnel were all equally involved and very supportive in my son’s care. SMA provided a great learning environment for my son and I have seen tremendous growth and learning in him. This is such a wonderful place, a hidden gem in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great childhood development center for children with all abilities.

A true hidden gem! Sharp Minds Academy is an incredible educational establishment. I have watched my son flourish while attending their pre-k program. Everyone from the management to the teachers are caring, thoughtful, loving and kind! The smaller setting allows for more individualized instruction and a true family feel! Their lessons are enriched with creativity, fun, and provide a full sensory experience. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, I am extremely impressed with their knowledge of child development! My only regret is not finding them sooner!

Our daughter has been doing one on one Zoom reading lessons twice a week for the last 6 months. Our daughter’s teacher has been awesome to help her learn how to read and be excited about it. The owners are also very nice and professional. We’ve had a great, positive experience.

A brand new academy on Highway 6 that caters to several programs such as after-school programs. They also have a number of programs for kids with special needs. I came here on inauguration day and the place looks great. Spacious classrooms that are clean and bright. The decor is colorful and the furniture is modern. The academy is at a location very convenient to residential areas in the vicinity. Plenty of parking space is available.

Sharp minds academy staff have been very helpful. The teachers are extremely professional and pay attention to detail. They were able to communicate effectively with my kids. I would gladly recommend them. They offer preschool programme and also have an amazing program for kids with special needs. They are driven and dedicated to giving back. The have a wealth of resources to help children develop their full potential.
