Bill and his team of movers were fantastic. Bill made it easy to schedule, he communicated well with us on what time he’d be there. His movers were phenomenal! So careful, meticulous in taking care of my piano, and those two boys moved this huge, heavy piano all by themselves. I was so incredibly impressed. I would highly recommend Thresher moving for piano moving. He was also very affordable and reasonable.

I spoke with Bill and he gave me a quote to move our piano for $225. He mentioned there might be a few variables (stairs for $5 each and $25 for each tight corners) We agreed and scheduled the move.
The guys that were moving the pianos called me and said they were running late and asked if we could be flexible not allow them to go move someone else on their way to us. We were flexible and told them that would be fine.
Hours later when they showed up to move the piano they told us that there were difficult corners and it was going to cost roughly $300 to $400 more than they quoted us because of

Thresher bumped my move today because they said it wasn't on their schedule. Even though my dad had set it up a week ago directly with the manager. Basically, they lied because we all know they bumped me for a bigger job. The real kicker is my dad has paid this moving company hundreds of dollars to move a piano twice, do junk removal, and more. They just lost my dad's business and mine. I'm a Realtor and will NOT be referring Thresher to any of my clients. Have integrity and show up for jobs!

Thresher Piano was scheduled to come and move a piano for me on a scheduled date and time after speaking directly to the owner. They no showed my appointment with no communication being made by them nor them answering their phones. The owner reached out hours later and explained the situation so I rescheduled for a few days later. Once again I’m waiting here a half hour past my scheduled appointment with no idea or communication of where they are. I personally wouldn’t trust a company like this to move a significant piece of furniture like a piano. After speaking with the owner he was unwilling

These guys were amazing! They were patient enough to explain some things to my mom about the piano and how they were going to move it. We had a lot of fun and they were EXTREMELY friendly! They were quick, efficient and arrived early. I highly recommend this company, since the prices were great! I have seen other companies getting worse reviews with higher charge, but this one is just perfect! Thank you for all the effort you guys do!

Amazing service! They called the morning of to cancel due to some employees being out because of Covid. Super disappointed, we called and the owner decided to come himself and complete the move of our massive safe. I was blown away that he would make it happen for us. He just earned our business for life!

We needed a grand piano moved from my in-laws and hour away to our home and our piano then moved 15 mins away to our daughter’s home. Bill Thresher Piano Movers was easy to contact, returned our calls quickly, was flexible with our crazy schedule, arrived a bit early, was very gentle with both pianos, and set them up beautifully in the new locations. The men that helped us were very courteous and their services were reasonably priced. I would not ever trust anyone else.

I called and talked to Bill. He was very professional and put me on the schedule for the next day for a safe pick up and delivery. Bill quoted me a $200.00 base fee plus $15.00 per stair. 15.00 per stair x 10 stairs= $150.00 + $200.00 = $350.00. The problem was he said there was two tight corners and said it was going to be another $100.00. I told Bill this was NOT what he quoted me. He said that he did not expect the tight corners and the threshold. Every home has a threshold to get in!!. The tight corner was 5' wide x 7' tall so not tight at all.

Stop searching and just go with these guys!! Sam & Maxim moved my huge organ today and it went so smoothly. It was so effortless because they knew exactly what they were doing and are very professional. I love how they have a system on working together. They communicate very well during the whole moving process letting one another know what steps they are taking on each end of the piano to make the move. They were so quick and easy. Good job guys!! I will use Thresher again in the future!

First off let me say owner Bill is a very nice guy but I am disappointed in a couple of things:
1. I scheduled the move for a Friday that they forgot about and they had to reschedule me for Monday. Which meant i had to totally adjust 2 days of scheduling
2. When they arrived at my house to deliver the piano they didn't bring the right equipment to go up my stairs or enough crew and they were going to reschedule me for another day. So...they decided to try another path and take the long way around which is fine but ended up costing me $200 more than quoted since they put down plywood

Our service was great! We were so happy with Bill and his team. We called last minute and they squeezed us in the day before Thanksgiving. They were on time and kept us informed of their whereabouts. They moved our new baby grand and even helped move it into different positions in the room making it possible for us to chose the best layout w/o… breaking our backs. They also moved our old piano to the home of a relative, but before doing that they fixed a broken part at no extra cost. In fact, our price was exactly what he quoted us plus one stair ($5) that I had forgotten to tell him about

Bill and his team use the classic bait and switch. Bill will quote you the lowest price around to get your business, and at the end of the move he'll pull out a bunch of hidden fees which almost doubles the price.
After receiving a firm quote from Bill for an upright piano move, I asked him point blank multiple times if there would be any other charges. He assured me that there weren't so I booked them.
Big mistake. I ended up paying almost $200 for a move that was supposed to cost only $118. Stay away from these guys, and don't trust what Bill quotes over the phone.
