Martial Arts Center For Excellence
Koei-Kan Karate-Do is a traditional Japanese martial art, founded over 70 years ago by Kancho Onishi Eizo. In the 1950s, Koei-Kan was brought to the United States by Sensei Edward Kaloudis, who established the U.S. headquarters of Koei-Kan Karate-Do in New Jersey. Martial Arts Center for Excellence students are instructed in Koei-Kan Karate-do by several of our qualified black belt instructors.

It's uniqueness to other local karate schools will stand out - you'll find influences incorporated from several different practical martial arts: judo, aikido, jujitsu, and karate, et al. However, with a focus on BUDO, students learn more than just punching and kicking technique - they learn memorable lessons that can impact their lives.
