Born in Southern, Maryland into a family of watermen and farmers, Carolyn experienced first hand the love and respect of nature. This love for the environment led her to a 24-year career as a marine biologist. Carolyn's career evolved from a research biologist to the Assistant Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and one of the Governor's Chesapeake Bay Advisors.

When our huge family decided to get family pictures at the beach I thought.. now this will be a challenge! We have so many little ones, and short fused Uncles! We asked around and were told about Carolyn Watson Photography. They were absolutely fabulous ! They were fun and entertained the little ones so they looked happy! They were enjoyable to work with so everyone was happy. But best of all we have beautiful family treasured portraits that we will look at over and over! They are pros. Beyond terrific to work with.
