Welcome to Karate Jutsu's Kids program this is quite a different karate training than you will see anywhere else. Karate Jutsu is not a new style but the name the old Masters like Funakoshi and Motobu called Karate before WWII. Early karate training was only about Self Defense and not sport or fitness.
Through training and research of Pre WW II books and material from Japan and Okinawa. I saw that there was huge differences in what was and is still taught today and what the original teachings of karate were. This opened my eyes to the true meaning of Karate. After this I started doing more research and changed how I trained and taught.

Services
Hammer Fist is a Principle based Self Defense System that uses Simple Gross Motor Techniques. This modern approach to self defense teaches the Hard and Soft Skills needed to get home safe. Plus how to become Hard Target so you are less likely to become a victim of crime. Also basic knowledge of Self Defense Law so you are not only Hard to Hit but Hard to Convict.

Sensei Matt is amazing and very patient with the kids. I’ve been taking both my kids for almost a year now and they look forward to every class. The classes are super affordable and the children learn a lot and make friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about entering the world of martial arts.

Perfect for children new to Karate and for the more advanced. My son has been going here since they opened in the fall of 2015. Classes are reasonably priced and you aren't suckered into any long term contracts or forced to buy anything the children don't really need. Sensei Matt is really good with the children. He takes his time to teach discipline and to correctly teach the kids the right way to do things. Overall one of the best local places for children to learn karate and jitisu. Definitely recommend.
