So much so that they are two entirely different trades almost. In that 90% of all drywall tradesman either hang or tape and they don't do both.
Peoria Drywall Finishers: Our process remains the same on most all projects. First you want any gaps pre filled. Next paper taping of all of the butt joints. Then the flats, followed by the inside corners. The inside corner will be done with a roller and glazer / angle head. Next you would hang the bead and apply the first coat of joint compound or mud.
