My name is Ryan King, and I am the Owner/Managing Partner of Dogwood Moving. We are a locally owned Residential and Commercial moving company based out of Raleigh, NC. I was raised in Wilmington, NC until the age of 18 when I attended Queens University of Charlotte as a collegiate athlete. In that time, I began working for Hornet Moving and soon becoming the General Manager.

All of our movers are clean-cut, athletic and well-trained movers who will work hard to make your move stress-free. We are dedicated to quality, hard work, and excellent customer service. 2 clean-cut movers hauling your goods to and from your home. Loading and unloading services available at the same low rate! This team size is optimal for smaller moves such as 1 or 2 bed apartments and partial house moves. Have a large home that requires more than one truckload? No problem! A larger team will expedite the moving process and ensure everything will be moved in one trip.

2. If you feel confident in what you need for you move, you can go ahead and book yourself online! Our easy-to-use software will walk you through the booking process. The sooner the better! We prefer 2-3 weeks notice, but we also realize it's not always possible to plan in advance. We will do our best to accommodate last minute bookings.

These were the best movers I’ve ever had! Randy, Jacob and Parker were extremely professional and hard working. They had excellent communication throughout the entire move and very polite. I would highly recommend Dogwood for any of your moving needs and we will definitely use them again!

Dogwood Moving Co. provided an outstanding packing and moving experience for my family! Philip, Klaus, Ethan, Lucas W and Zac R were incredibly prompt, professional and polite. Sincerely appreciate the level of care they took to make sure everything was moved carefully and placed in the right location. This was our third time hiring Dogwood Moving. And this was the third wonderful experience we have had with them. Randy, Ryan Lee, and Sean did a fantastic job. We had to move some very heavy and cumbersome items, and they handled it like the professionals they are. They were positive and cheerful, and it was a pleasure watching the camaraderie they shared as they got the job done. And I mean they got it done quick! They arrived on time and worked diligently, efficiently, and safely. And as always they were very careful - not so much as a scratch on anything. We cannot recommend them highly enough

We had to move a piano from one to another house 30 miles away. I called Dogwood Moving Company. Liam was extremely helpful and flexible in spite of this being a small order, requiring just two movers for two hours. They were able to fit us into their schedule in the same week and the quote was very reasonable.
As promised, Randy and Kiante called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They were super prepared, wore masks, took care that nothing was damaged in the house. The piano was nicely wrapped, and they carried it up 6 stairs and a very long ramp. They tied it down in the truck ( inside of the truck

Tyler and team arrived on time. This was my fifth move in six years so I know movers and highly recommend Dogwood Moving. Today was a hot October day, mid 80's but they worked steadily and were able to load and unload in four hours. We estimated 4 to 5 so nicely done. The movers were polite and unlike some moving companies did not hit me up for a tip. Of course I made sure each of the three workers were taken care of. I will be recommending them to my realtor friend who is always looking for quality movers in the Raleigh area

I tried to contact them, and all they sent was they were booked for that day. Then I sent a request on when they would be able to be available? All i got was emptiness.....NOTHING. And to think they were my first choice. I don't understand their feedback when they can't even respond to make money. Even when your busy you can send back ill get to you when i can response. Thanks but no thanks for your services. Please in future respond something.

As far as small businesses go, Dogwood Moving was consistently really impressive. Ryan (the owner) was personally involved in every step of the process. He was really flexible, communicative, and organized; a joy to work with. On moving day, the crew of three (including Ryan, who works in the field himself) were organized, fast, didn't scratch or dent anything. They were even very personable, even given how hard they were working. This was definitely our best experience with a moving company.
