Consider the A-line as a halfway point between sheath and ball gown silhouettes. An A-line skirt, which is named for the way it creates an "A" shape on the body, flares out from the waist more than you'd see on a sheath gown, but not as dramatically as the ball gown. If you've ever dreamed of having your own fairytale moment, then this is the silhouette for you. Ball gowns are one of the most classic wedding dress silhouettes and will instantly give you the Cinderella effect on the big day. A ball gown features a fitted bodice (sometimes with a corset) with a wide, full skirt, most often achieved by using crinolines or layers of tulle.
Your bridal gown is quite possibly the most important garment you will ever purchase and wear and we hold that in high regard. Shopping for a wedding gown in a large, crowded store can be overwhelming. We are one of the only stores in town who provide a private, one on one bridal appointment with Laurie, herself.

After looking at the department stores and not finding a dress I would be comfortable wearing to my nephew's wedding, I found Laurie's Bridal. With my nephew's wedding fast approaching, I needed one in 2 weeks (no time for delivery).
I could not have been more pleased with the service she provided. Since I live in Mesa and her store is in N.… Scottsdale, we spoke on the phone and she provided pictures of 2 dresses that she felt would work for me. If I didn't like the dresses, then she saved me a trip to her store. I liked both of them and set an appointment for last Friday.

My daughter just said “Yes To The Dress” at Laurie’s Bridal today. We had a wonderful experience working with Laurie. She contacted us prior to our appointment (private) to see what my daughter’s visions were so she could prepare for our visit. Laurie is a dream to work with! She made time for me after I had a disappointing wedding dress appointment! She special ordered in my dress and veil. She was always so sweet and excited to see me. I don't live near my family - so it was super nice to have her as my cheerleader. She made sure I was happy and stayed within my budget. I would definitely recommend Laurie's Bridal! This bridal shop is unique, as you get to work directly with the owner. Laurie schedules appointments so that you have her full and undivided attention during your bridal appointment. Laurie is passionate and knowledgable about the bridal industry. The most amazing experience. No one can prepare you for the day that you first start dress shopping. Laurie was compassionate and supportive of the bride.
