Great experience! We had some family portraits and candids taken by Jeannie on the beach in Cape May for my dad's 65th birthday and they were terrific. Jeannie was really flexible, helpful and responsive; she took tons of fantastic photos but also had us in and out in about an hour which was great given that we had a 10 month old with us. She also spent a lot of time with our family on the phone and via web meeting after the shoot helping us narrow down the choices, picking our favorites and getting them ordered. While searching online for family beach portraits for a project, I came across some photos that were absolutely gorgeous. The light, the clarity, and the compositions were stunning. The colors were vivid and rich; reminded me of a Maxfield Parrish painting. I assumed they had to be from a company in California; the light and backgrounds were that stunning.
I was thrilled to discover that it was a photographer not from the Avalon in California, but the Avalon right here in New Jersey!
Shortly thereafter, my husband had the idea to give his parents a birthday present of a family beach portrait

I just have to say what a great place. Before going to the beach during the summer of 2010, we researched places for my daughter's senior portraits. By accident we came across Avalon Art Photography. Sometimes blind luck does payoff. In this case, we had a great payout by finding Avalon Art, Jeannie and Chuck. The team did such a great job in capturing the essence of my daughter and her inner personality.
Sure we had to meet Chuck on the beach just as the sun came up and being on vacation, which was hard in itself. But again, the benefits of the lighting as the sun came up providing
