Providing outstanding service to the Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana tree service area in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana for nearly three decades. Tim Back, an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, has transformed his tree care company focus on saving trees as tree physicians, not tree morticians.

Over the last several years Tim and his team of tree care professionals have saved thousands of beautiful trees from tree health issues such as Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), and other infestations and diseases impacting tree health in the Greater Cincinnati tree service area. The proven systems Back Tree Service uses are effectively combined to protect and preserve tree health even in drought or poor soil conditions.
Services
We are here to deliver our services of arboriculture in a highly professional manner with honesty, integrity and quality. Our licensed applicators have now treated and saved over 12,000 ash trees in the Tri-State area. Tim Back, an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, focuses on the health of trees.
Back Tree Service prides itself on its commitment to tree care in the Greater Cincinnati tree service area. Our ISA Certified Arborists are highly skilled in many areas of tree care and service. Protect, feed and grow your trees with latest in tree growth technology, Pneumatic Vertical Mulching, and Ray Trenching.
Emerald Ash Borer is one of the major infestations that we treat. Learn how to protect your trees with our guaranteed treatments. The devastation by the Emerald Ash Borer on valuable ash trees has spread from Michigan throughout Ohio Indiana, and down into Kentucky and all over the Greater Cincinnati tree service area.
The pneumatic method of vertical mulching and fertilizing enhances the soil and tree relationship, thus uniting the tree with the soil. This procedure fractures heavy clay soils and creates greater pore space for aeration of the tree root system. Trees can look hardy above our clay soil while their roots are stressed through soggy weather or drought.
Some tree species are notorious for girdling roots. These conditions require root pruning in order to preserve the health and safety of your trees. In this example the girdling root has choked the tree and as a result, epicormic shoots have started forming at the base. A sure indicator that the tree is in a state of stress.

We have worked with Tim and his team for years. He is an expert arborist and has saved our ash trees. This year we embarked on a major project to have our wooded back yard cleared and many new trees planted. It was a large, complicated project due to the grade of our yard. We absolutely love the finished project and wouldn't have entrusted it to anyone but Tim!

I have been using Back Tree for many years and have always received outstanding service. Because of their efforts I am one of the few people left that still have live Ash trees in my back yard. I live in Dayton and they come to help me at no extra cost. I highly recommend them.
