We are a family owned business in Rye, NY, originating in 1956, when Augusta and Ralph Rogers created Carpet Trends with their son Ted. Ralph worked for Nye-Wait Floors as a mill representative, but saw an opportunity to service the Rye community along with the aid of his wife, who had a budding decorator business.
In 1974, Ted Rogers purchased an old Chrysler dealership and that building is still our home today. The property was built in the 1800's, and had originally been a Livery/Stable and the stone wall that surrounds the parking lot today was built in the 1800's for Billington's Livery. Ted and his wife Ann grew the business into a successful family owned carpet store.

With one of the largest showrooms in the area, we offer a wide selection of manufacturers and carpet styles for all tastes and budgets.
Carpet Trends offers a wide variety of services for home owner, designers, and businesses and has been doing so in and around Rye for over 60 years. We have 7 knowledgeable sales people on staff to assist you with your flooring needs. All of our custom carpet installations are preformed by our own highly skilled mechanics, many of whom still employ old world techniques such as hand sewn seaming.
Here at Carpet Trends, we like to provide our customers with the necessary information for carpet care after the installation. Regular carpet cleaning is essential to maintain the appearance of your wool carpet. Use a good vacuum, preferably one that is upright and has an adjustable beater bar, and make sure that the beater bar is not worn.

Like their tagline states, Carpet Trends is the best flooring store in Westchester.
Two other Westchester County carpet stores were unable to repair and properly install our area rug under a piano. Thankfully, we were introduced to Carpet Trends who quickly found solutions. They worked in a very professional fashion and for a fair price.
Gene and his team are the best flooring professionals I ever experienced, i recommend them without reservation.

I have been a customer of Carpet Trends for over 20 years but my most recent purchase makes me love them even more. My 90 year old Father is moving in with me and we needed to replace some of the carpet before he could move in and we had a very tight time frame. Carpet Trends had exactly what I wanted and they were able to install it immediately. The carpet is beautiful and I am eternally grateful. Thomas was incredibly understanding and helpful.
