El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant

I used to live hey Robertsdale over 10 years ago. This has always been one of my favorite restaurants that serves Mexican food. I've never had a complaint about their food or their service. My regular plate that I get is the California burrito and I love it there's always enough for leftovers so I can enjoy it twice. I do wish they would fix their parking lot and maybe upgrade their bathrooms but food and service is great.

Delightful place. Very good service. Great fajitas, very good taco, enchalada and superior tasting rice and beans! A definite winner! Can't wait to return.

Ordered Fajita's and an order of cheese dip to-go. Not only do they charge you for chips(2$) even though i ordered dip and salsa (2$) but when I got home to eat, there were no tortillas for my food. When I called they were rude and said I could come back up there for them. I live 20 minutes from the restaurant so it would of been 40 minutes out of my way... so long story short... paid 30$ for a meal that wasn't complete by a rude staff.

We love El Rodeo. It's a ho m e town restaurant that has been around a long time.
The food is always great. I highly recommend you pay them a visit and enjoy the food and service.

I'm sad I didn't photo the soup I got. Lemme tell you that spicy shrimp soup will cure what ails you. My server was so kind, patient and helpful. Genuinely caring employees. All Very tasty dishes, I don't believe the mango "agua fresca" is anything more than the nectar juice cans sold in stores but is a large serving for the cost at least. Very good guacamole and I will come back before leaving town to try a dish I didn't have the time or stomach space for that day but check Them Out it Is Worth it.

That's one big enough Steak Barrito, big enough for two....and add margaritas...you'll have a huge meal!

Do not get the positive reviews. Not one of us enjoyed our food!!! I travel all over the country and this is Probably the worst Mexican food I have had in a long long time. Very dry, burnt steak... very very very disappointing. This is what four construction workers left who normally wipe their plates clean... all for $85

In my opinion, this is the best Mexican restaurant in Baldwin County. It may look like a rough building, but the food is spot on. I know awhile back, they were trying to build a whole new building, but everything was just too expensive. The have the lot, just not pushing forward that I know of yet! Hopefully, someone will donate. If the food is already this good, imagine what it could be with a brand new building/parking lot! But, the California Burrito is where it’s at!! Best thing there!!! Food is affordable and comes out faster than the McDonald’s up the street! Cheese Dip 👍👍👍

Great food at a great price! Chile rellenos is my favorite, and theirs is great! Pepper was nice and fresh, with a nice amount of heat to it. I got the lunch special with the pepper and a taco with guacamole salad. Nice bonus, it came with rice and beans that I didn't expect. Also ordered a margarita. Everything was great. Definitely will visit again!
Edit: I forgot to mention the service was great too! I only wish my ticket had the server's name so that I could brag on him.
