Co-owner of Central Texas Tree Care, Andy brings a unique combination of certification, education and field experience to our customers. Andy holds an International Society of Aboriculture arborist certification (#WC3188). He also graduated from Virginia Tech, one of the nation's top forestry schools, with a degree in forestry.
While in school, Andy interned with a large lumber and paper company in Northern Florida for two years. After graduation, he decided to make a transition over to urban Forestry, finding it more interesting and personally rewarding. Andy has been saving and protecting trees for private homeowners ever since.

Central Texas Tree Care is proud to be a locally-owned and operated Austin tree service company. Co-owners Andy Johnson, a certified Austin arborist, and Javier Robles are the experts to call when you have a tree care question, no matter how big or small.
When it comes to local companies providing tree care, there are just way too many. Why? Because there's absolutely no regulation required: no arborist certification, no insurance and no city or state requirements or regulations. This lack of regulation has led to the practice of improper pruning and a host of immoral salespeople.
Our Austin tree trimming service provides only the highest quality trimming to International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) standards. Trimming needs are assessed based on tree safety, general overall tree health and, of course, catered to fit your budget. Cleanup is done on the same day using chipper machines and large enclosed dump trucks called "chip trucks."
Central Texas Tree Care has installed hundreds of cables in Austin area trees over the last 10 years and I am very proud of our record. Our highly trained and experienced staff properly installs more cables each year than just about any other local tree care company. Cabling and bracing trees are scientifically approved methods for supporting trees with split crotches, or for trees that have limbs or crotches that are predisposed to failure.
Central Texas Tree Care is licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture to spray trees to control insects and disease. We have spray systems that can reach far up into a trees canopy to reach even the highest tree limbs. The ideal approach to pest management is to identify the problem before attempting a solution.

What a great company and crew that trimmed several mature live oaks in my front and backyard. I've used a few different companies to do this same job over the years but none have come even close to what these guys did. The supervisor of this crew has such a great work ethic and is all about making customers happy with the job. Not only did they trim my trees perfectly but they cleaned up so well I couldn't tell they were even there. I highly recommend this company!

Called Central Texas Tree Care late last week and made an appointment to get an estimate to remove one tree and trim back another. The Arborist came right on time and gave us an estimate for the work we wanted. The price was great so I called to schedule the work. The work crew called when they we on their way and showed up promptly at the low end of the time window set for the work. There were three workers. I showed them the trees and within 30 minutes the tree was down and the other tree was trimmed. They cleaned up the back yard where the work was done, chipped all of the wood, then cleaned

This is the third time I have used Central Texas Tree. They have always been on time with the correct sized crew. When they complete the trimming they do a very good job of cleaning up. I've never had to call for them to come back for any reason.
As the crew gets into the trimming process (my lot is an acre) there are areas that weren't originally discussed in terms of trimming. As long as its reasonable they will do it. The whole experience is very professional.
