In 1984 Cheryl Guay opened a small jewelry store in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She specialized in jewelry repair and her own custom designed jewelry. Over the years, Jewels and Gems has evolved into a fully staffed jeweler that carries unusual and high quality jewelry from many leading designers. Cheryl and her staff attend many of the major trade shows and are able to purchase directly from major national and international suppliers.

We will make a custom wax for you to see before the final product so that you will know exactly what you are getting. We have the experience and GIA diamond course training to write acceptable insurance appraisals.

My fiancé and I purchased our engagement ring here not long ago after visiting the store on my own a few weeks prior. Jackie and Cheryl are both absolute dolls and know everything there is to know about jewelry! The experience is one I will never forget and I will be continuing to look to them if ever I need a gift/treat for myself. I would recommend them to anyone! They worked on my watch which had a broken crystal. It took six weeks to be repaired and then it leaked within the first week. They said I would have to pay extra for the second repair because the first repair used a generic crystal. They would now need to repair with OEM crystal. Another six weeks and now my watch had small amount of water damage. Nice women who worked their but not very knowledgeable about repairing watches.

I purchased a beautiful necklace for my Mother's birthday gift, from jewels and gems. I tried larger chain stores and the other local Glenwood jewelers, but nothing seemed right. Once I found jewels and gems, the difficult process was eased. I was given tons of useful help and the experience was very personal. I highly recommend if you are looking for a jeweler in Glenwood Springs and surrounding areas!
