I once sat beside a creek for an hour or so. I sat still and watched the water flow, bubbling over rocks and causing fallen leaves to swirl in intricate patterns in the current. As I stared directly ahead of me at one focal point, I had the realization that I was constantly looking at new waters. I had accepted the idea that the creek was one body, however, it was really an endless flow of new waters.
Check back later as we are in the process of joining other insurance panels. If we can not yet accept your insurance, we can provide you with a "super bill" which you may submit to your insurance as an out-of network provider for potential reimbursement. We have competitive rates if you choose to pay privately.
Your first session is called the intake visit. The goal of the intake visit is to understand what your concerns are and to figure out how we can help you. By the end of this visit we will have a general direction and goal for therapy. This first visit usually takes about 90 minutes and is longer than other visits.
After you schedule an initial appointment, you will be emailed paperwork to fill out prior to your visit. Please complete all relevant paperwork before your visit and bring it with you to the appointment. When you arrive, wait in the waiting room until the counselor is ready for your appointment. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early.

School stress, threats of violence, social media pressure, boundaries with cell phones, and increased isolation are just some of the new pressures on kids.
