We ask that you try to give us two weeks notice, and we require a 50% non-refundable deposit (applied to the price of your order) to secure a date.

I wanted a cake designed for my brother in law's 50th birthday, and since I was traveling to Oak Park, CA I had to order it sight unseen before the big day. Their website instructions helped a great deal and Kaye helped me choose the ideal look for the cake itself.
The custom cake turned out perfect and Kevin couldn't have been happier or more surprised that I didn't buy a $5.00 cake from Ralph's for his big day.

This review is long overdue, but I highly recommend Kaye's Cake Designs. I called to request a custom sculpted cake for my daughter's 11th birthday. She wanted a cake that looked like our dog. I provided some photos and explained what I wanted. What they delivered exceeded my expectations. My daughter loved it. All of our guests loved it. The cake was delicious and it looked just like our dog. The process for ordering was very easy and I really enjoyed working with them. The price was good, as well. Incredible value. True artistry.

Kaye has done multiple cakes for me and my family and each one has been unique and delicious. From coconut to banana caramel, chocolate raspberry...Kaye has made to sure to inquire of our preferences and has tailored each of our cakes to our preferred tastes/flavors. She somehow finds a way to blend different flavors together (matcha strawberry) and make them taste great. She designed my engagement party cake and it was a huge hit with our guests! It contained intricate details and rotated! I will definitely be ordering more in the future!!!!

I saw an ad on Facebook of a motorized Star Wars BB8 Cake where the head was moving, it had lights and sound effects. This just totally blew my mind. I knew then I had to order a birthday cake from them for my son. I went on their website and saw Kaye’s (the owner) beautiful artwork of sculpted cakes and interesting flavors. Very impressed and just amazed at what she can do to make a cake stand out. Love, love, just love her work and we had the banana split cake for my child’s 7th birthday. Be sure to plan ahead and start your cake order early. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered and received my second Cake from Kaye's Cake Designs in Oak Park, CA. Yes, I know it seems odd, but I have twice now driven 70 miles to pick up cakes I have ordered from Kaye.
This time, it was a wedding cake for my brother's wedding reception. The bride has a host of allergies (chocolate, nuts and dairy) yet Kaye was able to create the most delicious cake! The bride and groom are fishing nuts so Kaye created the most original tiered fish cake that I have ever seen. The guests at the reception all 'oohed and aahed' over the cake and proclaimed it was perfect

We finally had the pleasure of having one of those awesome cakes we saw from Instagram. Kaye's Cake Designs from Oak Park, CA make our custom cake for our daughter's 4th birthday. We wanted something special like what you see on those cake competition shows like Cake Wars. No surprises here--they delivered. The cake was very moist and it wasn't super sweet. We had 3 different flavors in each tier and they all tasted great! If you have some time, check out all their sculpted cakes and their flavors. I was on instagram searching for a custom cake for our daughter's 4th birthday and ended up finding a local cake baker in Oak Park, CA who makes those artistic sculpted cakes you see on Cake Wars. We ordered from Kaye's Cake Designs and spoke with Kaye who was very nice and awesome to work with. We gave her our budget and she was able to accommodate the number of servings and scaled our cake accordingly. Very impressed! Oohhh the birthday cakes from Kaye’s Cake Designs were so good. I found out they're located in a small city in Oak Park, CA close by Agoura Hills and Westlake Village. I saw her collection of sculpted cakes on her instagram feed and had to try her beautiful cakes. The owner Kaye was SUPER easy to work with and we got a two tiered cake flavor of Confetti Cake and Mexican Hot Chocolate cake. OMG it was so good and not overly sweet. The texture of the cake was perfect and moist. I'll definitely be back and referring her to my friends and family for more birthday cakes.

Ordered a delicious coconut birthday cake that was a Star Wars theme. My friend and her son loveeeeed the birthday cake I ordered for them...so were the guests! If you’re a local around Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and are in need of a custom birthday cake, you’ll find this hidden cake designer in Oak Park. I had seen pictures of Kaye's cakes, so I approached her when I needed something creative for a scavenger hunt I was involved in. Being an engineer type, I gave Kaye the general criteria for the cake and left the imagination to her. Her proposed design was creative and fun, and the actual cake looked better than I had imagined! Anyone who saw the cake or the pictures, has loved it. The cake tasted as good as it looked, so I was 100% happy with my purchase. I will be heading back to Kaye, in Oak Park, CA, the next time I need a special cake for a special occasion.

Amazing cake designs! I can't believe the quality and detail in the cake that was made. The cake designer is in Oak Park, CA, close to our birthday party and we had specific dietary restrictions but Kaye had no issues accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again.
