I amended my previous 3-star review. After eating here earlier today, I have to conclude that this restaurant is over-priced, the food subpar, and the service below standard. I do have to add that the bus boys are far more attentive than the waiters.

Happy hour starts at 3pm, depending on who you talk to. I called and they said 2 on the phone. I get there and the bartender says it's 3, but gave me HH price on the margarita because it's 10 to. Weekly special is Monday and Tuesday lunch special is 2 for 1, must be two people. Wednesday and Thursday is HH all day.
Vibe is older. Crowd was mid 50s and older. Very slow on a mid day Tuesday. Maybe 15% of their capacity.
Food was good but more expensive than I think it should have been. Definitely more expensive than it should be for drinks. HH margarita is $8.50! Regular price is $10 something

After several visits we have decided to no longer frequent this business. The issue is not the food, which, is tasty (if not slightly inconsistent). It's the horrendous customer service by one specific waiter (Javier). For some reason he is the only server available on the day we come and has been routinely rude, dismissive and aloof towards us. Please note: the food we would give 4 stars and the busboys and other staff are quite pleasant. However, the sour taste Javier left on our experiences ruined just about every meal we've ever had here.

Time to move on and put this restaurant to bed. Food was never stellar but now it's worse AND more expensive than ever. AND, to add insult to injury, I pay the bill and get a receipt higher than the bill the server originally put on the table. Why? Well, because they added a 3.84% charge with no warning or prior explanation. Nothing. Just a receipt with the 3.84% charge circled.
I'm done. Not only am I being overcharged for mediocre food but now I'm being penalized for using my credit card.

I've been going to this place for over 20 years. The original owner's really had it right on the flavors. They always provided green & red salsa with chips b4 a meal. Although the cooks are not the same, they still have the same recipes & great service. Red salsa & chips are still a delight. They have weekly specials which are really worth it. Mixed drinks are awesome.

The service is horrible! The food is good, not as good as it used to be, bit good. I decided to call in and order food on my way home from work. The call was answered and I was put on hold immediately. After waiting in hold for almost 6 minutes I had arrived at the restaurant. I stayed on hold as I walked in as I had a feeling something wasn't right. My feeling was accurate. There was no one waiting to be seated and the man who is always in the front had his back turned to the door and was texting on his cell phone while I was still on hold. Not the best place for a Mexican spot. The alcohol drinks are not the best. I asked for 3 different drinks and tbh they all tasted similar to each other. The place looks like they haven’t changed it since the 70s. Dim lighting and parking space limited. The food was 7/10. 1st and last time. Waiters were great. Definitely will look somewhere else when I’m visiting Burbank.

I was really looking forward to coming here as my Burbank friends said Granada was an institution. The parking lot is bigger than it looks initially- there are entrances from Burbank Blvd and Victory (don't listen to Waze about this!).

My parents used to go to this place on dates back in the early 80's and they loved it. I started coming here a few years ago and I loved it. I've since moved out of Burbank but when I do pass by I have to stop here for their Cadillac margaritas and chicken flautas. Probably their second best plate. Their first is the chile colorado plate. It's amazing.

I took my mom there recently for her birthday. we received bad food, bad service, and could not get a receipt from the waiter "Enrique". I suspect the waiter "Enrique" stole/is stealing the money. I paid in cash and he brought me back my change without a receipt showing what I had paid.
When we arrived & were seated, we waited & were ignored for a long time. Finally, after almost 15 minutes, the waiter Enrique finally showed up, but he seemed very put off, & was extremely rude

We're still here and I couldn't wait to give a review. I'm Mexican and I'm telling you this is authentic Mexican food. The mole is outstanding. Live Miriachis create a perfect atmosphere. The service is a slow but I think it's because it's a special celebratory 50th anniversary for the restaurant. First time here so don't know how service usually is.

Stopped in here while we were in the area. Went in to see if they had indoor seating, which they did and we were seated right away. They also have outdoor seating as well. We were served chips and salsa right away and chips were warm and salsa was tasty. We ordered two ice cold Corona lights with lime and they were brought out ice cold along with cold glasses. I opted to order the bacon wrapped shrimp a la cart. There were six of them brought out on a plate loaded with fresh and tasty guacamole and a few tomato slices. I love Granada's.
This is the kind of Mexican food with molten refried beans and a black olive on top. It fondly reminds me of other red booth, sit down restaurants that serve delicious, unfrilly food at good prices.
I miss eating inside! It's homey and comforting, in the way that SoCal Mexican food restaurants like to look like old haciendas. The service is consistently good. They've been in our take-out rotation since the pandeemo started, and the food travels well! We sometimes pop it back in the oven for a few minutes, but that's because I like my cheese enchiladas piping

Not wanting to cook (again), figured that it had been a long time since last eating here. Thank goodness they are open for takeout for food AND drinks. We didn't need anything fancy, so we ordered a couple black bean & cheese burritos and some Cadillac margaritas. Everything was fresh and hot, even after getting it home. Still great portion sizes, too, even with the chips and salsa. The margaritas were as awesome as always. Food coma time.

Grenada has been around since I was a kid and they continue to offer the best Margaritas in Burbank.The food is average at best,but they offer some really great Monday & Tuesday specials.The bar area has a good vibe and the staff is friendly.The stars are mostly for the drinks. I recommend Grenada if you wanna get lit on Margaritas.

We been coming here for 20 years and have always had a great meal. It's true family style Mexican comfort food. There margaritas are really great also. The staff has always been fast and friendly and are on top of there game. I believe they still have 2 for one Tuesdays! One of our family favorites!
