Dan entered public accounting in Missoula in 2006 as a tax accountant after more than a decade in the private sector bringing extensive audit, tax, management, and business experience to the Group.

Peterson CPA Group, P.C. is hiring a full-time or part-time Auditor with at least 1 year of experience to work in our Missoula, Montana office. This individual will work with experienced managers and partner with a wide-range of clients. This position is focused on financial statement and compliance audits of closely-held businesses, health centers, affordable housing projects, and non-profit entities.
We can help you setup and maintain your non-profit organization's tax-exempt status by handling all the IRS reporting for you. Statement of Activities (Income Statement) with very specific revenue and expense categories like donations, salaries, postage, rent. Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet) with specific categories like cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable.
