Holy Apostles Catholic Church
Holy Apostles Catholic Church has been serving our community in Colorado Springs since 1972. We have a long and fulfilling history that we are proud of. With the arrival of Msgr. John Albert in November of 1972, Holy Apostles began with only 13 families that met in the pastor's house and Wilson/Madison Elementary schools.

With a large Catholic community in the northeast end of Colorado Springs, plans for the first church building were under way, and the church was dedicated in 1974. The number of parishioners quickly grew to 750 by the end of 1978. In 1981 Fr. Paul Wicker was appointed pastor of the church. In 1984 there were over 1,200 families.

Plan your estate and charitable giving in a way that benefits you, your family, and your parish. For more information, please contact Rosemary Oblon at 719-484-8724. Get peace of mind: Just 20 minutes to create or update your legallybinding will at no cost to you.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) are funds from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) that can be donated to a qualified nonprofit organization without first recognizing it as income, which can help reduce your taxable income.Donating appreciated assets avoids federal capital gains taxes and provides a federal income tax deduction for the current market value of the gift.
We began our Christ's Light for Generations Capital Campaign with prayer, asking the Lord to guide and lead us. He has blessed our efforts, and we were excited to complete first phase projects in Spring 2021. Thank you to all who have contributed! Now we need your help to make repairs and updates to the sanctuary, restrooms, and lower level so we can equip our parish to serve our growing community for the next generations.
Entrance to the chapel is through the hall that surrounds the north side of the sanctuary. During times the building is open (7 am-9 pm Monday-Saturday, 6 am-3 pm Sunday), enter at the east side of the building. Walk through the hallway on the right with the restrooms, then enter the double doors at the end of the hall and turn left.
In his letter to the Corinthians, Saint Paul referred to himself and the Apostles as "servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God" (1 Corinthians 4:1). The Greek word for mystery was translated into Latin as sacramentum. Thus, the Sacraments are the mysteries of the Christian faith. The Sacraments bring God's own life-the life of the Trinity-into us.
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever.

This is an amazing parish and Fr. Baron is a great priest. Everyone, from Fr. Baron to the parishioners are kind and very generous. If you're looking for a new parish, or considering converting to Catholicism I recommend visiting Holy Apostles.

What I love most about Holy Apostles is that on more than one occasions I have been able to walk into the Sanctuary on any weekday and peacefully find a seat and pray without any problems! The church staff don't know me...to them I'm a stranger off the street! However, they still show respect for people who need to reach out to God, privately! Thank you Holy Apostles for allowing me in your Sanctuary to pray. You allowed me that when the church my family and I grew up attending would not even allow me in the building...let alone the sanctuary! And I live only a block away! When I needed God those

I have been in several parishes and so far I attended 6 Sunday mass in this parish. I now made my decision to register here. I have been searching for a priest who talks to me and look me on the eye when I'm talking because that's very important to me since it's the window of our soul. Father Baron is amazing! My first encounter with him...just what I was looking for.. our entire short conversation..he looked straight to my eyes and I felt his beautiful loving soul. He cares to each and everyone here and pays attention to every parishioner. I love listening to his homely, very nourishing to my
