Services
Chad Hobgood, PharmD and Laura Doucet Hobgood, PharmD, owners and Pharmacists at Hobgood Pharmacy, both attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe School of Pharmacy. Chad graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) in 2005 and Laura, in 2007. Chad has experience in the retail setting of pharmacy and has worked for two different retail pharmacy chains in Lake Charles as a staff pharmacist and as a pharmacy manager.
Laura Hobgood, PharmD is a FertilityCare Practitioner who provides professional instruction in the CREIGHTON MODEL FertilityCare System. The system is an effective, holistic, and natural alternative to hormonal contraception. Hobgood Pharmacy offers classes to help each individual woman unravel the mysteries of her menstrual cycle.

I was using Kroger pharmacy. When I compared prescription drug costs, Hobgood pharmacy was less expensive than Kroger. They were so very helpful in transferring my prescriptions. The staff & pharmacists are extraordinarily nice, professional, & knowledgeable. Additionally, they have unique items a available - not a lot of gifts, but their gift options are great. You will not find them all over town. They also stock my favorite hand soap, Barr-Co, which I've never found in Lake Charles before. I will continue to use Hobgood pharmacy & recommend them.
