Ultraviolet (UV) technology has been used for years by hardwood manufacturers to cure finishes in the factory. In fact, most pre-finished hardwood is made using this technology. Radcoat UV Finish utilizes the same technology to immediately cure the finish on the job site, in your home, office or sport flooring.
Provides a uniform look due to the minimal character markings. Select Wood: Variation of natural heartwood/sapwood color and includes knots, streaks, etc. It is suitable for homes, general utility use, or where character marks and contrasting appearance is desired. Similar to select grade with a uniform appearance, natural color variations, and minimal character marks.
Over time wood floors become worn, scratched and dented due to normal wear and tear and high levels of foot traffic. We can make your floors look like new with our wood floor sanding and refinishing services. You can also choose one of our many custom stains to give your floor a new look. Sanding and refinishing your floors every few decades will prolong the life of your wood floors.
Placing a dirt trapping mat at all exterior doors will prevent dirt and sand from entering your home and scratching your new floor. We also recommend using an area rug on high traffic areas such as hallways and stair landings. Vacuum, sweep or dust your floors regularly to remove any dirt that may damage the finish on your flooring.

GR Flooring recently refinished our hardwood floors on our entire first floor. The floor was in terrible shape with pealing finish and many dimples from the prior-owner's high heals. GR Flooring was professional from the start. Throughout the three day project, the team and owner Gary were always punctual, reliable, cleanly, and remained communicative to ensure we were satisfied and discuss how the project was proceeding. Our floors were resurfaced and stained any we would never be able to identify it was the same floor. It looks like brand new flooring was installed and we could not be more pleased

I couldn’t be happier with the service and the results. A great experience from the start. Gary came and measured my wood floor for refinishing and sat down and gave me the estimate right there and then. That really impressed me because the other companies I had over made me wait 3 to 10 days for the estimates via text or email. He was also very accommodating when it came to the date I wanted it done. They have a lot of experience using UV, which I wanted to cut down on the time, and the price was very fair. The crew was great! They arrived right on time, were all very friendly, and always explained

From the moment we called Gary for an estimate we knew we were dealing with a professional. He and his entire crew were prompt and courteous. The job they did to our 20+ year old floors was amazing. **Highly Recommend**I cannot say enough about GR Flooring. We had one floor installed and stained and the remainder of the house refinished - not only was the price extremely reasonable but the work was performed beyond our expectations. The guys were extremely trustworthy and hardworking. Gary called each day with an update and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this company. Our floors are stunning and make the entire house look so much better. We are so happy with the outcome.

Terrific on all levels. Gary and his crew were attentive and friendly in helping us choose a floor stain and gloss. They also did a very fine job of patching a large hole in the floor after getting rid of an old vent grate. We left the house in Peconic during the week and came back to stunningly good looking floors. No complaints and highly recommended!!
