We address the challenges of growing older by providing Christlike care that honors God, minimizes fear, and maximizes peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Caring for the aging in a distinctively Christian manner is at the very core of the Baptist Homes. Our Philosophy of Care has evolved through caring for the aging for over a century.

For over 100 years, the Baptist Homes have sought to minister to the aging population through resident care, educational development and global outreach. This resource library is our new online hub to provide aging resources on a variety of aging related topics, ask questions and better understand the ministry of the Baptist Homes.
Because of you, nearly 50% of The Home's long-term residents receive some financial assistance. And because of your generosity, The Home is able to provide between $1.4 and $2 million dollars in financial assistance each year. All gifts to the Baptist Homes support the ongoing ministry and are tax deductible.
The Home's experienced staff and contributors can provide valuable insight into many aging issues such as those listed on the Educational Seminars page. The Home's Experts on Aging can also tailor seminars and workshops to meet the specific needs of your group. To schedule someone to speak to your group or if you have questions, please contact Dr. Ron Mackey, [email protected], 866.454.2709.
Research continues to show that music can play an important role in connecting with those suffering from dementia. My Step-GrandMother Minnie Pace and her twin sister Eva Anderson spent their final years as residents of The Baptist Home in Ironton. They decided to do this without telling any other family members. I visited them several times and the were very happy. Then my Mom, Ethel Allen, did the same thing. She called all her children (she had 8) said she needed us all at her house the following weekend. She had already made all the arrangements without any of us knowing. Mom was happy there the rest of her life. These people at the Home are great caretakers of the Older Baptist of Missouri.
