Courageous Homecare

We are a licensed agency providing in-home healthcare, personal care, and custodial care to our members in their homes. Providing homemaker duties, assist with errands, doctor visits, and grocery shopping, as well as many other home management duties.

Consists of assistance with medication, monitoring vital signs, wound care, assistance with bathing/grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, accompanying with visits to the doctor, and many more duties to assist our members.There are NO MINIMUM HOURS. We can serve a member for one hour if that is what is needed.

The Independent Care Waiver Program (ICWP) offers services that help a limited number of adult Medicaid members with physical disabilities live in their own homes or in the community instead of a hospital or long term care facility such as a nursing home. ICWP services are available to persons with debilitating chronic, degenerative diseases and also those with traumatic brain injury (TBI).

CCSP assists older and/or functionally disabled consumers, their families, and caregivers in achieving safe, self-reliant lives. Participants must meet the same medical, functional, and financial eligibility criteria that is required for long term facility placement under Medicaid and requires the approval of a physician.

SOURCE links primary medical care and case management with approved long-term health services in a person's home or community. All SOURCE clients must meet the eligibility requirements for full Medicaid and meet a long-term facility level of care. SOURCE operates under authority of the Georgia Elderly and Disable (1915c) Medicaid Waiver and provides Home-and-Community-Based Services to frail, elderly, and physically disabled persons.

Veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person, or are housebound, may be eligible for additional monetary payment. These benefits are paid in addition to monthly pension, and they are not paid without eligibility to Pension.

Since Aid and Attendance and Housebound allowances increase the pension amount, people who are not eligible for a basic pension due to excessive income may be eligible for pension at these increased rates.A Veteran or surviving spouse may not receive Aid and Attendance benefits and Housebound benefits at the same time.
