Services
Founded in 1879 as a furniture store and funeral service by pioneer businessman Ole A. Sathe, Osterberg Funeral Home has been in operation for 140 years. In 1914, Ole was joined by his eldest son Oscar Carl Sathe, a graduate from the University of Minnesota's Program of Mortuary Science, and established the name Sathe & Son Furniture Store and Funeral Service.
At Osterberg Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
When you call Osterberg Funeral Homes, we'll immediately start to assume the burden of all the details and arrangements. We genuinely know how difficult and stressful times of loss are, and we are utterly committed to helping family members and friends remain free of coping with tedious necessities so that they may mourn their loss without unnecessary encumbrances.
Most people don't have much experience in making funeral arrangements, so it is hard to feel prepared. Making these decisions can be difficult if you aren't familiar with funeral goods or services; and you may be experiencing strong emotions after a loved one has died. Talking about death is often difficult.
At Osterberg Funeral Home, we want to make arrangements simple for you. We offer a large variety of containers and traditional caskets designed to meet your specifications but we'll be happy to go over them with you and answer any questions you may have. If you are looking for something in particular, please let us know.

Can't even begin to state how badly this place has treated me. I began this in 2019 and paid $275 for this place to simply put a date on a Military gravestone for my Mother who passed. Two years later and many excuses nothing has been done. No communication, this place is the worst option you could do. Don't make my mistake and get ripped off hundreds of dollars for no results.

Update, visited the cemetery, still nothing done. When I have called the phone just rings. The person previously supposedly helping was Jen, no response from her anymore. I will try again Monday and let you know if
