I have worked in the dental field for the last 20 years, and enjoy caring for patients. I started my dental career while still in high school in California. I have had the opportunity to live in Minnesota, and now I have found myself in the wonderful state of Oregon working at Dr. Hikade's office. I have been married since 2001, and have two wonderful boys.
Porcelain is stronger than composite resin, and the material can stand up to more use. Where composite resin veneers may last 7 to 10 years, porcelain can last 15 years or longer. Composite resin is porous and can accumulate stains. Unlike your natural tooth enamel, composite resin cannot be whitened.
Composite resin bonds with your natural tooth structure. This means that less of your natural tooth structure needs to be removed when removing decay and preparing the tooth for the fillings. The composite resin material does not contain any metal or mercury. This makes composite fillings an ideal alternative for patients who have allergies to metals as well as for those who have concerns about the use of amalgam.
Porcelain fused to metal. PFM crowns consist of a metal base and porcelain coating. The metal surrounds your tooth, providing it with similar protection to all-metal crowns. The porcelain coating provides a more aesthetic solution. Despite the porcelain providing a more natural appearance, the metal can often be seen through it.
Your teeth begin to shift out of alignment, altering your bite. Even if you have lost a tooth at the back of the mouth, where it does not immediately affect your smile, shifting teeth can affect your smile and the health of your mouth. You regain your smile, as well as your confidence. A bridge is typically made from ceramic, a material that can be made to blend in perfectly with the rest of your natural teeth.

Everyone I have encountered has been professional and welcoming. I am impressed with how thorough they are, with my cleaning and impressions in preparation for Invisalign, and it never seems to be overbooked and busy. Also, I love their fishtank; Nemo and Dorey live here (plus other cool looking fish)! I think I'll keep coming here. :)

I had the best experience with Dr. Brooke and Kimberly the hygienist. They were so sweet and thorough - I walked away feeling like I had just received the best care delivered in the most friendly way. Their equipment is very updated - They we’re able to use tools my previous dentist didn’t have and had technology that allowed me to see the health of my mouth so when Kimberly spoke about something I could see what she was seeing. I’m so happy to have made the switch to this lovely practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hikade (originally the father, Richard, and now his daughter Brooke) since I moved to the area in 2015. My dental care is a priority to me. Not only is Dr. Brooke Hikade-Wyatt's skills top-notch, so is the dental hygienist I go to (Abbey). Dr. Hikade recently made a crown for a dental implant and fitted it. It's perfect. I was able to put it on a Care Credit card that is interest free for the duration of my payments.
Im not easy to work on. I have a bad neck, TMJ and a very small mouth, which makes dental cleanings challenging because I can't open

After going to the same dentist for 18 years I switched to this office because I live in Happy Valley now versus West Linn.
I had a crown done at this new dentist and location.
The office staff was very rude when I would
not pay the over $2,000 bill before I left the appointment. I have dental insurance.
They call me daily rude and threatening to send me to collections. It has not even been 30 days since my procedure.
They will not help me work with insurance, will not set up payment arraignments. Only option is pay in full or go to collections immediately.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST

I see Dr. Brooke Hikade. She and her staff are welcoming and professional. The staff schedules both me and my husband at the same time so we only have to make one trip. They are usually right on time, or running just a few minutes late.
The office is very clean and has up to date equipment. The hygienists are thorough, yet gentle. No one has ever tried to push unnecessary procedures on us.
When we moved here I was concerned about finding a dentist we would like as well as our previous long term dentist. We are very happy here.
