We believe that children learn best in an environment that is loving, warm and nurturing, one that provides a limitless variety of experiences both in and out of the classroom. Our goal is to provide activities and experiences which build self-esteem and help the child develop a healthy self-concept. Staff members at Kids 'n things are trained in early childhood education as well as CPR and first aid. They are highly qualified to provide a loving and warm environment where children will learn and grow.
Services
Our Three-year-old Program introduces your child to the processes of social and language skills to establish a lifelong love of learning. We begin to introduce more structure to your child's activities and daily routines. Your child will learn numerical skills and will be taught to use simple reasoning to explain everyday experiences.

By far one of the best preschools in Simi Valley. Carol and her staff are the best and are more like family then just teachers. They really do care about each child and are very involved when it comes to helping your child succeed whether it’s potty training,or helping prepare your child for kindergarten. My kids look forward to going to school everyday! I love the security gate at the front, it gives me piece of mind knowing they are safe. Also the big colorful classrooms and the new outdoor playground equipment is great!!! Lots of space to run around. My oldest especially likes all the tricycles

My son has been attending this awesome, loving, amazing school for almost four years. The amazing growth has made his natural child development thrive. My son was a late bloomer in talking. We had him in another school which he was frightened of. We thought he didn’t want us to leave him, he was petrified. When we notice this behavior, we thought maybe changing schools would be best. We moved him to Kids N Things, within a few days he was glad to see us leave. Shortly of my son being there, he had a stored up vocabulary of words that just came out. Every time I walked into Kids 'n Things, I was greeted with the friendliest staff.
We evaluated several schools in the area to determine the best fit for our 2 children.
At first, we had to ask a ton of questions. Mrs. Carol & her team of teachers could not have been more patient, friendly & accommodating throughout the process. The school is organized & operates so smoothly. We also liked the flexibility in the drop off schedules. We have been very pleased with the care & safety they provided for our 2 children. The kindness of Mrs. Carol & her team of teachers will always be remembered.
