Our unique business model was developed by Dr. Ben Unruh, who is passionate about putting children at ease and delivering a positive, pain-free experience every visit. Dr. Ben was born and raised in a small town located just outside of Wichita, KS. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 2004 and went on to obtain his DDS from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2008.
After receiving his DDS, he spent four years in the National Health Service Corps providing dental care to underserved children. He went on to complete specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Northwestern University in Chicago where he was named Chief Resident in his second year of residency. While attending Northwestern, Ben began practicing at Jenkins & Leblanc Dentistry for Children.

Services
As a self-confessed "needle phobe, " Dr. Ben is committed to delivering injections and anesthesia with as little anxiety and pain as possible. Most patients don't even realize they received an injection! Traditional dental tools are powered by air pressure and have a high-pitched sound that many patients find unsettling.
The American Dental Association defines a dental emergency as a person in a potentially life-threatening situation requiring immediate treatment. Extraoral swelling due to a dental infection that potentially compromises the patient's airway. My child's permanent tooth/teeth are coming in, and the baby tooth is not out or not even loose.

Absolutely wonderful pediatric dentistry. Dr. Ben and his team are friendly, professional, and very caring. My toddler’s experience went so smooth, even though she was so hesitant at first. Thank you for working with my child and being so patient with precious little humans! I recommend this office to my friends and family and thankful to have them for my kids!

I can’t say enough great things. I arrived 45 minutes early due to not realizing how much closer we were than I originally thought. The front desk said let us see if they are ready. We were back in the chair not even 5 minutes later. They were patient, kind, and explained everything to me as they cleaned my 1 year olds teeth. The dentist was super nice! Had an amazing experience and already have our 6 month cleaning scheduled!

Such a great pediatric office! After having a not so great experience at another office, we are so glad we found Hello!
After our first visit my kiddo asked if Dr Ben could be his "normal dentist".
We have since had a tooth extraction and had just as great of an experience as we did our first visit.
On the way out (after shots and crowns and a tooth getting pulled, mind you) my kiddo told the front desk that he "had a good time"!
So thankful we found this office!

First time visit to Hello! went off without a hitch! They were able to get us an appointment within the week when everyone else was booked up at least 6 weeks. Additionally the visit itself was efficient and flawless. We’d barely checked in at the front desk before they called us back, and there was zero wait time on the cleaning and visit with the dentist. As a bonus, everyone we came into contact with was kind and genuinely appeared to love what they do.
