Caries, or tooth decay, is a preventable disease. Plaque is a film of bacteria that is on your teeth. This bacteria can use starches and sugars that are ingested to produce acid, which eats away at the tooth structure. With time, this acid can cause a cavity. Hot and cold food and beverages can cause pain or irritation to people with sensitive teeth.
A. The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend a minimum of two visits per year for a checkup and professional cleaning, or more if recommended by your dentist. A. One of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, take X-rays of your teeth as needed and complete an oral exam.
Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment. Our office accepts all credit cards. We also offer financing through Care Credit with either 6 or 12 months interest free.

Had a pretty horrible experience recently. Upon check in with new insurance, the receptionist was rude and condescending that we had not called ahead previously with the new insurance information. She spoke down to me and treated me like an inconvenience rather than a valued patient. They ultimately told us our insurance wasn't covered at their location for a routine cleaning even though our provider (Cigna) verified that it was. We won't be taking our business there again regardless, but based on the way they spoke to us, were dishonest about coverage and made us feel, I wouldn't recommend bringing

Honestly one of the best dental procedures I’ve had to have done to date. I was very anxious about getting a numbing shot in my mouth as I think it’s the worst thing. And I barely felt it. That alone is worth 5 stars. But they’re very professional and very accurate abs work hard to do it right the first time.

We recently moved to the area. Lindstrom Family Dentistry was highly recommended by others in our area. As a new patient, I felt comfortable and welcomed by Dr. Struve and the staff. I decided to switch to a local dentist since I was no longer driving downtown for work. I had my first visit with Lindstrom Family Dentistry this morning, and was very pleased. The hygienist was friendly, thorough, and gentle. The dentist was informative and laid back. They are now my permanent dental office.

Had to go in for my 5 year old daughter who had a cavity that turned into an abscess tooth. They were warn and friendly when we arrived and continued to be so for our entire visit. They respected my views and wishes as a parent- medical freedom is so important. This is a rare find these days and I truly appreciated being seen as the gatekeeper to my child, and felt respected. The procedure was quick and painless, and will continue to come here!
