The moving guys were on time to pick up items for delivery, that says alot. They were professional and went about the job really great! Did not waste time and didn't fool around. They also helped put up the bed for me! Which i appreciate. They were referred to me by a friend who had a move, and I will certainly refer any of my moving friends to Abba Movers1

Abba Movers were great from the start. They squeezed me in on very short notice. They got to location on time and even tho it wasn’t a huge job and was a short distance to go they had me loaded and unloaded in 2 hours. Highly recommend. I don’t plan on needed movers for quite sometime but if I do they will be the first I call.

ABBA-solute worst moving experience ever. We were promised employees not day laborers, but who showed up were teenagers who had no work ethic and were soooo slooow. They didn't do HALF the job in the time estimated and paid for. One guy took a "breakfast break" less than an hour after the job started. They refused to carry more than one thing at a time even when the one thing was as small as one book. It was really infuriating. I have never experienced such blatant lack of professionalism. In March 2018, I hired Abba Movers. This company was the best moving service I have used in Baton Rouge and they were inexpensive. Unlike most moving companies, they worked at a moderate pace and were very careful with my things so that nothing got damaged or broken. I requested two movers to transport me from a two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom home. I appreciated their patience as they took their time and did not rush the move. These are turtle speed movers. Initial communications were fast. However one hour before start they asked to add one more person. I refused because this was all packed up two bedroom apartment with no appliances to move. The driving distance was within 2 minutes. The whole process was just watching two turtles moving slowly. Chatting with each other all the time, using phones frequently, and staying in the truck packing forever!!! This was not my first time hiring movers so I know how terrible they are. Abba movers did a great job with our move. The movers were respectful, hard working, communicative, and spoke and read English well (which is important when you label your boxes!).
They had moving straps which helped them move more quickly and efficiently with heavy furniture.
Two of our items got misplaced during the move and didn't make to our new house. I suspect they got leftover on the truck - they were black and it was dark outside by the time they were done. After looking into the situation and being unable to locate the items, Nicholas from ABBA sent me money to repurchase

Seriously amazing! The price can't be beat and I couldn't be more satisfied. I had Mario and crew move me out of my downtown New Orleans apartment. They had everything moved out and ready to go in 60 mins while I sat back and enjoyed a Bloody Mary. The brought dollies, carts, and furniture pads and didn't charge extra. I moved into a second story unit and they ensured everything I had was in it's correct location and organized before they left. They took all of the stress out of the move! I would recommend Abbas to everyone.
