Amsberry painting recently cleaned and stained our deck. Our deck is made from Ipe, also known as Brazilian Walnut, and it is a hardwood. As such, it requires very careful treatment and process to properly prepare the surface for receiving the oil-based stain. The Amsberry crew was very receptive to my instructions, and took great care in preparation and also during the staining process more than a week later. The result is that our deck now looks exactly like it did after original construction, more than 6 years ago.

We had a very positive experience w/ Amsberry's Painting from the initial meeting to receive a bid to our final walk through after the exterior paint job was completed. Every employee we interacted with at the office and here at our home was professional, helpful, friendly and easy to work with! Price was competitive and the turn around time from receiving a quote to actually having painters here was faster than any of the other bids we received. Highly recommend!

My crew hasn’t done any painting yet but I’m scheduled for my exterior in about a week and they just finished all the cleaning. First of all, their quote beat 10 other bids! To be honest, I think the bidder made a mistake with the heights they were dealing with but Ron was awesome and honored our original quote. They weren’t booked out far at all and got us on the schedule promptly. Ron has been in contact with me regularly for weather and schedule updates and customer checklist items to make sure everything goes smooth. Several of our neighbors have had Amsberry's paint the exteriors of their homes and they all were very happy. We decided they were the right choice for us. We were out of town when the power washing was done, but they did a great job and also power washed the driveway and patio, which we had requested as an add-on. The painting job went extremely well. They were very thorough in their prep work - Taping and covering the windows. The job was very thorough and much quicker than I expected. When we need interior painting, I will absolutely give them a call.

I would like to preface this review by stating that the company did eventually make things right which is the only reason why I thought 3 stars was appropriate.
What was a 1 1/2 day quoted interior job turned into a 2 week ordeal. After the initial walk through of the work I was looking to have done I was quoted 1 1/2 days to complete 2 coats of paint on multiple living areas and hallways (no trim or ceilings, just walls), the job was scheduled about a week or two after that and a crew arrived to start day 1. They finished in about 5hrs and left which I thought was probably average for the first

The south side of our house had been battered by weather for years. The Amsberry estimator, Bob Sultemeier, gave a thorough look at the condition of the exterior of our house. He recommended getting a quote from a siding contractor, Highlander NW, who replaced the affected area with a Hardie surface before Amsberry painted.
The work crew was terrific. The crew lady communicated with us throughout the process, resulting in a beautiful paint job that lived up to our best expectations.

On a neighbor's recommendation, we hired Amsberry's to paint several rooms in our house. Trevor came in to assess the work that we needed. He was courteous and knowledgeable, pointing out some problem areas that the team had to pay special attention to. Pricing was reasonable, lower than some other estimates we got.
We were quite pleased with the results. Paint was applied beautifully, wall plates were carefully removed and reinstalled after they finished, and they left things looking tidy.

Strongly recommend Amsberry's Painting. They painted the full exterior of our home (Oct 2020) as well as quite a bit of interior painting and staining (new wood replacement windows) - Nov 2020. The quality was truly excellent. I am picky and can say that they are detail oriented. I think the owner (Jeff Amsberry) sets the bar pretty high and he works closely with his team to share his passion and skill to the rest of his team. Shannon was our project manager and made the whole process go smoothly. Really a great guy. Project was completed as quoted and in a timely manner. Great experience

I highly recommend Amsberry's Painting. This, coming from someone with high standards (I expect quality and am detail oriented). We had Amsberry's paint the full exterior of our home. Shortly afterwards we had them paint the interiors of our newly replaced wood windows (full house). Entry way and hall were also painted. They also stained the new wood windows in our office. I don’t write reviews. But Amsberry outwitted me. Paint crew was excellent. Communication and follow through bad beyond my capability to understand.
Sadly I did not keep a record of specific dates. My memory is the house was painted in June. Repairs were part of the project. Repair finally happened August 7, 2020. Crew scheduled 7:30AM August 17, 2020. No show. I called for information / status — about 9:15. Jeff called back at 9:31 to confirm I would be near the phone for an hour — he was confirming a crew was en route for final touch up. I am writing this at 11:15 — apparently I am applying

Very poor customer service from beginning to end - the young girl who took my call to book an estimate wasn't at all on her game - it took two separate phone calls to book the estimate appt and the calls took way too much time to book - she shouldn't be allowed to be the front person and she also booked the wrong time - Trevor, the estimator called at 8:00 this morning and when I asked where he was he wouldn't tell me & I said the appt. is at 9am and he couldn't make 9am due to another appt & then he got very argumentative and said he wouldn't work with me - unbelievably

Hired them to paint one room. The crew did show up on time. After that, everything fell apart. Finished later than expected but no courtesy call or any notification as specifically requested.(and then lied to as bout it) Drips in the paint. Un-patched holes. Left paint on furniture as well as paint and debris on the floor. Jeff Amsberry assured me that he was there for the clean up. APPALLING! How anybody could leave a "finished" job in that condition and still be in business is unbelievable. After that missed/postponed appointments and excuses were the rule. I've now had multiple negative experiences with painters / painting contractors, including painters not showing up, not finishing work, leaving paint drips and messes, etc. I was therefore very cautious about having Amsberry's do the sizeable ($10k+) chunk of work to get our house ready to go on the market. However, they REALLY came through. Jeff Amsberry did the initial walkthrough with me as well as multiple follow up walk throughs, and another project manager / supervisor, Roland, also went above and beyond (including spending many hours of his own time) to ensure a very high level

We recently had our home painted by Amberry's and are just THRILLED with the result. Francisco, our head painter, was really professional, respectful of our home/space, and did such an amazing job. We were expecting it to take a solid week to paint with just two guys, but we were pleasantly surprised to have it completed in 3.5 days. The price was as quoted, no surprises or add-ons. The only small hiccup was the painting date got moved around a little bit (no big deal). I'd highly recommend using them in the future!

First, they covered the windows with plastic. I thought they would be back (given the weather was perfect for painting) the next day or certainly the day after that. Nope - 5 days later, and after several calls into the office, they returned.
After the kids caulked the siding seams, I needed to tell them to go back to many and do them again as they were done sloppily.
After the painting was done, I found that they trampled
