I have been a patient at Bergen Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine for 4 years! Acupuncture helps me to maintain more balance in both my mind and body. The BEST part of this practice for me has been the fertility, pregnancy and postpartum treatments. I am currently 6 months pregnant with my second son :) Thank You Ali & Team for always supporting me and teaching me so much!!

I'v had chronic back and neck pain for years. I was lucky enough to find Bergen Acupuncture in Westwood. Aili and Janet are board certified in Acupuncture therapy. I can't say enough on how well they treated me. Their knowledge on the human body is incredible . If you tell them where your pain is they can work on that area. They also can help you if you have blood pressure, anxiety and other problems besides chronic pain. When I first went I didn't think much of it because you think it's voodoo or something crazy. Aili and Jannet are the absolute best! Aili has been doing acupuncture for my neck issues for several years, and I don't know how I would have dealt with the pain without it. She has just the right touch and knows exactly what she's doing. I have also seen Jannet a few times, and she's also terrific. You can't go wrong with either one. Not only are they extremely competent, they are compassionate and they listen! I can't recommend them enough.

Janet and Ali truly care about their patients. From lending a listening ear to unrelated ailments to sending hand-written holiday cards, they make every effort to treat you both inside and out. The facility is clean and welcoming. Unlike most medical offices, you never feel rushed or like you are "just a number", and yet I've also never had to wait when I've made an appointment. If you are unsure about acupuncture or it is your first time giving it a go, this is the place to take the dive.

I have been in Bergen Acupuncture for about two or three months. Within the first month I saw improvement. I have Spinal Stonosis which is pain in the back which runs down the legs. My family has a weekly standing appointment with Bergen Acupuncture and Integrative medicine and wouldn't have it any other way. Our physical and mental health has only improved with each needling session. The office tries their best to squeeze us in if we have an ailment and most times we feel much better right as the session ends. As one of the other reviewers has said, this office is very unclear about what is actually covered. I suggest if you are interested in going here, you verify with your insurance company first.
I was told this would be 100% covered and then received a bill for $50. I called to inquire and I was given a run around explanation. I won't be returning here- I just don't trust this business. And they do not have flexible hours for the average working person.

Bad customer service. I contacted the receptionist to find out if they take my insurance and how much i would have to pay out of pocket. I even told her that I would pay if my insurance wont cover it. She sounded a little annoyed that i was asking her questions (i just asked her 3 questions). She asked me to give her my insurance information and my name. She told me she would call me back and she never did. Well they lost my business. I will take it to a place that is appreciated it. I recomend the owner to train their front desk staff. They will lose a lot of business with them.

I have never reviewed a business or service before, that's how completely disappointed I am in my experience with Bergen Acupuncture. I called based on convenience (closest acupuncturist I could find) and asked about pricing. Was told that their services may be covered by my insurance and that they would call my provider and then get back to me regarding pricing/copay. Received a call back and was told that I was covered and my copay would be $20, which sounded ok. Im surprised this business wasn't already listed on yelp, its such a terrific local acupuncture and integrative med center. I recently re located from Boston and needed to find a new acupuncturist, and i found their website. i showed it to my previous acupuncturist, and she thought it sounded like a great fit. I have only been going for about 5 months (every other week or so) ,which is why I didn't give 5 stars, but so far Im very happy. Ive seen both Jannet and Ali and both are very knowledgable and kind, taking the time to listen to my concerns and make suggestions on how best to benefit
