Performing a digital level survey on every home foundation that is inspected adds real value to a home inspection. By offering this additional service, Corner-2-Corner Inspectors provide an often overlooked part of a quality inspection. We are licensed to provide wind mitigation surveys, which can provide for discounted rates on your homeowner's insurance.
The truth is, without a thorough home inspection performed by a qualified professional, neither the buyer nor the seller can really know what defects may exist in a home. As part of your home inspection, your local Corner-2-Corner professional will evaluate all the major elements of the home. Including heating, cooling, structure, electrical, plumbing, foundation, roof and more.
Picou was incredible as an Home Inspection instructor for my required Platform Training. Through his level of knowledge and ease of explaining different discrepancies commonly found during inspections, it was evident of his Experience in the field. The materials of study, his polite and down-to-earth attitude, and overall "Good Person" vibes made it comfortable and interesting in regards to asking questions about anything I had on mind.
The Trainee must complete 30 hours of prelicensing platform training, as well as ten (10) live inspections with an approved in-field trainer. I'm one of 27 such trainers approved by the state of Louisiana. Conducting your own "hands-on" evaluation of several electrical panel boxes and a combined furnace/water heater system.
