We can provide you with a drop-in replacement for an existing motor or a new design to help you from proof of concept all the way through manufacturing. Looking for a drop-in replacement motor? We can match the RPM, torque and form factor (layout) of other motor brands, and even make improvements if you wish to optimize the motor for your own use.
If you're interested in production, our engineers will guide you through the design process and make recommendations based on your intended use for the motors. If you need only one or a few motors, we can suggest some excellent options which can easily be ordered online through McMaster-Carr and MSC.
Rex Engineering manufacturers DC powered gearmotors in many configurations. We will customize the speed, operating voltage, torque carrying capacity, shaft design, etc., doing whatever it takes to get your design moving! We also offer Brushless DC motors, which have more advanced capabilities. Our permanent magnet DC powered gearmotors are simple and reliable.
Rex Engineering gearboxes can be built with brushless DC ("BLDC") or permanent magnet motors. They are inexpensive and easy to use! Low to zero electronic noise, or EMI/EMC emissions, which interfere with sensors and electronics. Speed and direction is controlled easily and accurately, offering you a full range of options with every motor.
