Services
Our new Clinical Director isn't new to Cascade Acupuncture Center. Some of you may remember he practice with us as an Associate Acupuncturist. Back by popular demand, he is now our Clinical Director and making great strides to support the community and Clinical Staff needs. He is also practicing in the clinic.
Cascade was started in 2005 at 104 5th Street in Hood River. The original owner hired the first Office Manager and Acupuncture Associate. This was the beginning of the team approach to care, which Cascade Acupuncture Center continues to expand upon until this day.
We envisioned, and created, a clinic setting that is warm and welcoming in part because the office space utilizes Feng Shui principles, but also because the treatments are delivered in soft leather recliner chairs with soothing massage and heating pads. This provides a unique environment, where both staff and clients enjoy a comfortable and calming clinic setting.

Cascade Acupuncture Center's health care approach is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which is an ancient medical system that has been practiced for more than five thousand years. TCM is a holistic medical model that always addresses both the physical and emotional areas of health imbalances at the same time.

I have been going to Cascade Acupuncture for the past two years for both acupuncture and allergy elimination treatment. I have been treated for several conditions--stress, chronic neck and back pain--and find the treatments incredibly helpful and essential for my overall self-care.
What makes Cascade Acupuncture stand out for me is the allergy elimination treatment for my longstanding environmental and food allergies. I would break out into hives from physical contact with grasses, nightshades, and squash leaves. It was annoying to garden with long-sleeves, especially in hot weather, to avoid

Following intestinal surgery I developed drop foot. My primary wanted to set me up with an expensive nerve study to detect where the problem stemmed from. With no insurance, this study was out of the question. I have always had faith in Carola and her staff for results with acupuncture. I have been having sessions for a month and am happy to say I can lift and wiggle my toes and raise my foot. Thank you Cascade Acupuncture. I bow to you!

This was my first experience with acupuncture and I have been very pleased with both the service and the results of my health concerns. The comprehensive education was very helpful and I received pain relief from my first visit. I would definitely recommend the staff at Cascade Acupuncture to address any of your healthcare concerns.
