Dr. Mitesh Jivan was born in Luanshya, Zambia and raised in Tallahassee. At a young age, he become very interested in both biochemistry and health. After graduating with high honors from University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, he entered into the Ph. D. program at Florida State University.
I understand the importance of utilizing the latest technologies and research to improve the health and quality of life of my patients. Such a caring compassionate doctor and office. Not afraid of dental procedures anymore. He takes his time talking to you and is genuinely concerned about your issues. I vaguely felt the needles in my gum and noticed he took the time to be gentle and lesson the pain. The hygienist Maria is so thorough in her taking care of the patient and their dental needs. Will not go to anyone else. Office girl is pleasant and respectful to everyone. Best experience ever in a dental office .

Today was my first visit with MJ Dental and they were absolutely amazing! I had a cavity for the first time and was scared to have a filling done but they made it such a stress free and easy process. They explained everything along the way and checked in with me frequently which was so nice. I felt cared for and can’t wait to continue going back! Thanks for helping my teeth get healthier again! :)

After reading all the great reviews, I decided to go for myself as I was in need of some dental work. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The dental assistant Jenny made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that was going on. Dr. Jivan was as good as everyone says. He clearly explained everything to me and was able to fix my problem in the first visit. I do not have dental insurance and was able to sign up for a plan that this practice offers, it saved me money on my first visit which was handled as an emergency. I now have plans to return for my cleaning and regular check up

Dr. Jivan and Gini rock! I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Jivan and Gini made me feel comfortable and explained everything in detail as to what had to be done to fix two of my teeth. The crowns are perfect and there was little to no pain during or after the procedure. The staff were very professional. I will recommend them to all of my family and friends!

I broke a tooth and got an appointment very quickly. The doctor told me what had to be done, a crown, and it could be done at that appointment.He was excellent and his dentist assistant, Claudia was super, reassuring and kept me apprised at how long I had left. Something we all want to know at the dentists.

Central Florida friends: Thanks to some wonderful Ladies I've met here at Mission Inn, I have been blessed to find a fantastic dentist: Dr. Mitesh Jivan! He and his entire staff are amazing! I saw three different Dentists/Endodontist back in California and they just wanted to pull my two back molars I was having problems with and put in implants -… a 3 month process! Dr. Jivan did a 3D CT scan and determined he could save both teeth. This past Friday he performed a root canal on one, and amputated the cracked root on the other. Today, after a year and a half, I am pain free! Just a tiny

Best dentist I have ever had in my life.
Dentists in Orlando do not offer the same time, technology, skill or out comes.
My first teeth cleaning was like I had never had my teeth cleaned before. Recent crown too. Crazy. I have good insurance and lived in a big city, I had to move to Mt Dora to get good dental care. Really!
So Grateful.
