It's hard work trying to take care of yourself while also taking care of the things that matter most. We're here to guide you on your journey to optimal wellness and health. We started in 1992 because the founder of Asheville Compounding Pharmacy, John Boff, realized the traditional pharmacy model wasn't working.
Often nutritional supplements get the reputation for being just about low cost and long shelf life and not about effectiveness and quality ingredients. At ACP, we refuse to cut corners with our supplements so they are hand-selected in order to ensure genuine quality and effectiveness for our patients.

Probably the best compounding pharmacy I've encountered. The staff is definitely eager to have business and enjoy serving their customers. Though we have to drive almost an hour to get there, knowing that when we enter the store, we will be well received makes the drive well worth it. We hope their business continues to thrive for we depend on them.

I always come here because they are more professional and focused more on health, than a place like CVS. But now, with their new renovation, the space is spectacular and feels like a joy to enter into. The interior was custom built, and they plan to start offering workshops. Plus, it feels so clean and peaceful inside.

Asheville Compounding pharmacy is absolutely wonderful! I thoroughly enjoy having a place so close to have my medicine made and they even make their own creams, lotions, etc. I bought an Eczema cream that they make for my husband and he says that so far it works better than anything else ever has. Bonus: the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable!

Very knowledge pharmacist and staff! I had been taking a fish oil that was recommended; it was supposed to be a specially sourced Menhaden fish oil with Omega 3s and great for heart health. But after speaking with John, the pharmacist at Asheville Compounding Pharmacy, I learned that what I was taking did not have sufficient doses of Omega 3s to help supplement my diet. Asheville Compounding Pharmacy carries a great line of supplements with correct dosing amounts. I highly recommend their qualified staff!

These folks treat me like family! I have used CVS but they keep refilling out of date prescriptions. I was frustrated so I tried Asheville Compounding Pharmacy. Immediately I felt I had made the right decision. Then I ran into a pickle getting a prescription moved and they bent over backwards to help me. They greet me with a smile and remember me.

Nothing is too much trouble or too strange a question for these professionals. If you're used to dealing with chain pharmacies, this experience will actually make you happy. They work with pet medicines as well as human, and always aim to get you the best deal and they are fast. Easy refills via automated phone system, but a person is available for questions, too.

The Asheville Compounding Pharmacy has literally been a life saver for me. I'm highly allergic to soy and they have gone above and beyond helping me with regards to this. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, and excellent at what they do. They remember each customer and there needs. You are not treated like a number or have to be looked up in a computer for them to know what is going on with you. These people actually care about there customers- can't say enough about ACP. If you want/need a pharmacy that does medicine and dealing with prescription/over the counter medications extremely

The Medicine Shoppe is on speed dial at our house. Even though they're part of a chain, this is truly a wonderful small-town pharmacy. If anyone from my family walks in or calls they immediately know who we are and almost instantly know what we need. Great selection of OTC products and they're great about getting prescriptions fast.
This place is no frills so don't go looking for a photo department or makeup aisle. They do one thing really well: pharmacing!
