My name is Criselda Brooks and I'm the owner of CJ's Landscape Design. Horticulture has fascinated me as far back as I can remember. As a child, I spent my free time tending to my small bean garden. Even though I always loved plants and being surrounded by nature, I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others.
After completing a Master of Science Degree in Sociology in 2006, I worked with vulnerable populations for over a decade. As an adult, I found that working on the yard brought back happy memories. It felt great to feel the earth in my hands again and to create something beautiful with plants, mulch, and rocks.

We offer all types of landscaping services, but our specialty is in mixing non-native and native plants to create a landscape that meets your maintenance needs and fits the ecology of our area.

Cris & team installed a gravel walkway for us with stepping stones, which we absolutely love. She was very patient with us while we decided what it was we actually wanted done, a decision that would not have been possible without her knowledge/experience and design simulations. She was willing to meet with us as many times as it took to finalize the design, and then made herself available after the work was complete until we were completely satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend CJ's Landscape Design.

Cris and her team are AMAZING!! We had her design and redo the very sad landscaping we had in our front yard. We were very impressed with how professional and detail oriented she is through the whole process. Her team that did the work were hard working, polite and did great work including clean up. Communication with Cris was top notch throughout the whole process. Everything was started and completed within the timeline promised. We are so happy with the job done we've already hired her to repair and stain our back patio. Could not possibly be happier!

We highly recommend CJ's Landscape + Design. After promptly responding to our initial inquiry, Cris met us only a day or two later to discuss our wishes and walk our property. Within a couple more days, she turned around drafts of several project designs, three of which ultimately transformed our backyard from "blah" to a place we love to spend time in. A fourth project converted our garbage barrel storage area from a muddy, after-rain mess to a set-up that is not only practical but actually has curb appeal. I just had Cris install a playscape area in my backyard. She was very polite and professional, gave me a bid in a timely manner, and her crew came out exactly when she said they would.
