We sat down CBC founding brothers, Gerardo and Jesus Crdenas, to learn more about how they became the finest jewelers in El Paso. Where did you grow up? How long have you lived in the area? Tell us about your family. We grew up in a family that has made their living in one aspect or another in the jewelry industry and retail operations.

I went in a week before Christmas looking for a cross pendant for my son. They had great enthusiasm for their craft and were timely in getting me a quality great looking pendant before Christmas. They are a family owned and run business which I liked. I felt like they stood behind their work. They felt more genuine than the other westside competitors in El Paso. CBC has been our jeweler for a few years. Story has it, that after searching high and low for the perfect engagement ring, my husband came to CBC after many disappointing finds. The jewelers at CBC took their time to explain the clarity, color, cut, etc of the perfect diamond and that's when he found it, and I must say, I love it! I get so many compliments on my custom made ring. It’s beautiful, and exactly what I was hoping for. I initially went in with a solitaire marquise. I explained what I was hoping to achieve and they went straight to work. They showed me a sketch, which I approved. Next, a wax mold was made. After seeing and approving the wax mold, my ring was made. It’s perfect and they were very helpful every step of the way.
