Trimming can serve two purposes-hazard reduction and maintenance. Hazard reduction can eliminate branches that might compromise the structural integrity of the tree. Maintenance can make your tree more aesthetically pleasing. We offer both services in order to keep your trees healthy and attractive.
Lace Bug: Lace bugs target broad-leaf evergreens such as andromeda, azalea, and rhododendron. Early detection is the key to combating an infestation. Look for yellow-silver stippling on the topsides of leaves. Mites: Mites pose a serious threat to a wide variety of plants, and can seriously impact the visual appearance of a plant.
To avoid malnutrition, be sure to give your trees an adequate amount of micronutrients, such as magnesium sulfate, limestone, gypsum, iron, and zinc. However, trees need very limited amounts of these compounds, and an overabundance can be harmful. Have a certified arborist advise you on the correct amounts of each you should provide.

5 stars rating company! Terry, Travis, Christian and the crews always do a great job. This is the 2nd time that I used their service. They removed 1 tree and 1 huge tree branch from our roof after the Jan 2022 Virginia severe snow storm. A lot of trees fell down because of the ice! Terry and her team came to do it very fast! Everything about the take down and removal went very smoothly. I took four quotes: Aces was the second best and the decision was based on a mix of price and on line reviews. Prompt on the estimate in terms of visit and report back. On time for the arrival on the day. Gave useful information how one prices a tree felling exercise. Executed very well despite challenges on tree size, proximity to a house and roping and cleaned up very well. A local competitor tried to put me off Aces, glad I persisted. That person's proposal was much higher.

This is our second time using Ace's, the first time being 5 years ago. Just as they did 5 years ago, Ace's once again went above and beyond. Punctual (even in the blazing heat wave we've been having) and did fantastic work. They took down a precariously hanging tree that was threatening our neighbor's house with a skill you don't often see, stacked up the logs into our existing wood pile, chipped the excess branches and debris, and cleaned it up so well that were it not for the very low cut stump, you'd never know a tree had been there in the first place. Great family business. Everyone we met was extremely kind and professional. We emailed on Friday evening and heard back from them within an hour of making the inquiry. The owner, Terry, came out the next day to give a quote. The price was right and even better, they were able to start the job the very same day. By Sunday afternoon all of the leaves on our 1/2 acre wooded property were gone. We will definitely have them back out again for our next job!
