Our family was very pleased with the overall experience with Chauvin Funeral Home. Chad Saia, Kevin Grant and Dwayne Crochet went above and beyond to make sure our needs were cared for. It was the small attention to details that pleased us such as placing the American flag over the body when they came to our home and giving us some family time with our dad when we were making the final arrangements.

We lost both our father and mother within two weeks of each other following Hurricane Ida. The staff at Chauvin Funeral Home treated us (and Mom and Dad) with respect and dignity - even under the extreme circumstances surrounding the Houma area...power outages, church closures, etc.

Chauvin's has helped us in the process of burying our loved one's, so many times. They are always on top of their game, so thoughtful, & kind. We were very pleased with Chauvin Funeral Home, the staff and the services they provided to us during a very difficult time in our lives. My Dad passed away 2 days prior to hurricane Ida. The staff at CHAUVIN Funeral Home took great care of my Dad during the storm and after and assured us that he would have as close to a normal funeral as they could provide under the circumstances. And they did. My Dad looked great and we were very happy with the way they accommodated our needs and preferences during a really tough time. Would recommend them highly.

Our positive impression began when a gentleman arrived at 1:30 in the morning to retrieve my mother's body. He was dressed in a suit, complete with tie, and was very respectful to all at a very difficult time.
My family then later met with Chad to complete arrangements. He was extremely patient with our many questions and was so kind to all family members.
Everyone we came in contact with at Chauvin's helped to make an emotional situation as bearable as possible. We would highly recommend

Chad was so caring, knowledgeable and professional. Losing someone is not easy especially when you are indecisive and his patience was outstanding!
