Josh's career began at Intel in Hillsboro, OR after completing his undergraduate degree in engineering at Oregon State. He worked at Intel for eight years in product development, the last three years managing a team of electrical engineers. While at Intel, Josh earned an MBA degree from PSU with a focus on Innovation & Technology.
In 2007, Josh elected to leave the engineering world and pursue a career in Architecture. From 2007 through June of 2010 Josh attended the University of Oregon's Master of Architecture program full time and worked part time with PKA. Josh brings to the firm a diverse array of knowledge, capabilities, and insights.

Services
Work with the team to help develop ideas and finish concepts with mentoring opportunities. Design and documentation of graphic project elements such as digital modeling using Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, etc. to produce graphic design concepts and presentation documents. Adapt to a range of various tasks including rudimentary interior design assignments to collaboration with project design and developing construction documents.
Two exciting greenfield medical center projects have marked this current decade for PKA. The firm collaborated on the Kaiser Westside Medical Center in Hillsboro and also completed the 74-bed replacement hospital project for Trios Health in Kennewick, WA.
PKA is also working on exciting projects with St. Charles Health System, Grande Ronde Hospital, Columbia Memorial Hospital, Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center, and Providence Health & Services, as well as many others.We have been extremely blessed to do the work that we have done and are very excited for the future.
