Technical Engineering is a family owned and operated company. Majed Noujaim, a first-generation immigrant to the U.S. in the late 1980's, opened Technical Engineering in the spring of 1998 after completing a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Hartford.
Starting off with a $15,000 loan from his brother-in-law, Majed purchased a Bridgeport milling machine with an Anilam 3-axis control and started procuring work from anyone and everyone that needed machining support.In the ensuing few years the shop grew from one machine to eight and Majed built a reputation of providing high quality tools and parts to the thermal spray shops that were close by.

Since 1998, Technical Engineering, LLC has specialized in precision CNC Turning, CNC Milling (3,4, & 5-axis) and the latest in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM). We've had the pleasure of serving the Thermal Spray and Ground Turbine Engine industries and are recognized for the design and production manufacturing of high quality parts and components including thermal spray parts and tooling.
Our Mechanical Engineering department uses the latest in CAD (computer-assisted design) and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software to provide our customers with the quickest print-to-part turn around. With our nine 2-axis CNC turning centers and our five 5-axis CNC milling machining centers we are equipped to handle almost any part that needs turning and/or milling with various part sizes and complexities.
Due to our extensive contract machining experience, we are able to quickly and effectively respond to the custom needs of our customers, and are committed to providing innovative solutions from design through production of their needs.
