Estate planning is the process of preserving and protecting your assets and providing an orderly means for them to be passed on to the next generation. Estate planning brings the comfort of knowing that you and your loved ones are provided for and that your hard-earned property will go to the people you want, the way you want.
What is the goal with Asset Protection Planning? It is to put yourself in a confident legal position by using accepted, legitimate techniques that put a wall between your assets and possible threats. By doing so, you are structuring your assets in such a way that they are less desirable to potential creditors.
One of the most rewarding experiences a parent can have is to hand over a successful business to a son or daughter and have your child follow in your footsteps. It is incredibly satisfying to know that you have left your children a legacy of hard work and dedication, as well as a valuable, thriving asset.
Many elderly Americans eventually require long-term or nursing home care. You might be surprised to learn that nearly one in two women and one in four men find themselves in nursing homes at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, nursing home care now averages between $5,000 and $7,000 a month depending on where you live, and Medicare will only pay for about 20 days of nursing home care.
Are you a veteran? Are you entitled to benefits? Many elderly Veterans are eligible or could become eligible for benefits but are not receiving these benefits. The most common benefit for Veterans is the Pension, often referred to as Aid & Attendance. 1. Service requirements: Served at least 90 days of active duty (2 years for Persian Gulf era vets).

Jeff, Ryan and the friendly team at Crandall Law Group are great to work with. Not only did they make the process of setting up a will and trust easy, they also did an excellent job educating me about the product. I also feel like they are extremely easy to communicate with if I ever have on-going questions. I always recommend Crandall Law Group!

It has been such a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with and get the best legal advice from Jeff and The Crandall Law Group team. I've been working with them for 5 years. I've trusted them the with 2 wills and trusts. I've also had them refer me to another Attorney for Guardianship and Conservatorship responsibilities for my mother in law. They are extremely knowledgeable in their field. They have become family. I consider them to the best choice for legal advice. I would recommend them 100%.

After re-locating to Idaho we felt we needed to have our wills and living trust reviewed and restated. We were very comfortable with our initial consultation with Jeff Crandall, and were confident in his recommendations. The process and costs involved were clearly explained and the work was completed in a very timely manner, with very little effort on our part. The staff we worked with were friendly, professional and efficient and we highly recommend Crandall Law Group.

I have known the Crandall family for over 30 years and they are AMAZING people - they are honest and fair and family oriented. They are warm, smart, inviting and very talented. You don’t always find all of these qualities in one lawyer or law group, so I feel blessed to be their client. On the business side I have interacted with them for years and I look forward to being their client for the rest of life. Their office is also very nice and inviting. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased to have them helping us with our financial security and our future. They recently set up our will and family

I have used Ryan Crandall for many of our office needs, and I have always been impressed with his attention to detail, his promptness, and the advice he has given. He has also helped my wife and I with our trust and will, and really has helped set us both up for success and has put our minds at ease. I can’t recommend this firm enough!
