Dr. Mika Ishitani is the founder of Ishitani Health Center in Fort Lee, NJ. She began practicing chiropractic in 2000 and has made it her lifelong commitment to research and discover the most effective ways to relieve and eliminate the pain for those suffering from neck and back pain as well as pain resulting from traumatic injuries such as automobile accidents and sports injuries.
We value our patients' experience here at Ishitani Health Center. If you are currently a chiropractic patient, please feel free to complete the following Client Experience Questionnaire. The Questionnaire is in Adobe Acrobat format, and requires the free Acrobat Reader to view. They work well around my schedule and they are very friendly and helpful.
Here at Ishitani Health Center, we value our patients. We acknowledge that going to a new place for the first time can be nerve racking. We want to do everything we can to eliminate any unnecessary stressors, which is why we include the option of printing and completing your forms at home. We think of our patients as part of our extended family, and we are excited to meet you!
Office fees depend on the severity and complexity of the patient's condition dictating the amount of time Dr. Mika and staff needs to spend with you in consultation, examination, x-ray, therapy and treatment. Services are charged separately. Ishitani Health Center takes most plans: PPO's, Government, Medicare, and most private plans included.

My whole family use their Chiropractic service and I am also on Physical Therapy. They really care on how to better treat us and offer alternatives for slow or quicker recovery. My daughter, 8 years old, recovered from a neck injury. I am improving my posture and correcting my back deviation. I see the results, I can even breathe better and more complete. Really worth it.

Was treated here twice.
The first time, the physical therapist did his best, but the second time, I received terrible treatment from not from the physio but who seemed like a group of aides. Also, they had the gall to bill my insurance when I had already paid everything in cash. Greedy and shameless.

I’ve been going to doctors in search of answers for 6 months and Dr. Mika has been the most systematic diagnostician I’ve seen. From reception to treatment to follow up communication, the Ishitani staff have been invaluable during my treatment (for a herniated disc). This place is absolutely amazing. I've been an athlete my whole life and I'm currently a competitive bodybuilder so I've put my body through the ringer. I have always had lower back issues and about two months ago injured my neck and lower back. I went to Ishitani, saw Dr Jason and I'm not seeing Dr Damien and since I've been going my neck and back problems have pretty much gone away completely. The fact that I wake up every morning not in pain anymore is just amazing.

If anyone is looking for an acupuncturist, Dr. Walter is by far the best! I usually get very nervous whenever I see a doctor (due to very bad experiences in the past) but not with Dr. Walter. he made me feel comfortable from the moment I met him and constantly reassured me that everything was going to be okay. not only is he great with his patients, but I feel great after getting treated by him! I no longer feel any pain and I am able to get back and feel like myself again! :D I highly recommend anyone that needs to get acupuncture done to go to him. you won't regret it!

My wife and son have been coming to Ishitani for chiropractic care for quite some time, and I know firsthand that it has helped both of them correct some of the problems they have been experiencing. Came to see Dr. Ishitani and Dr. Park for care and treatment after a motor vehicle accident. The attention and treatment has been excellent. Dr. Ishitani and Dr. Park are skilled and experts at their craft. As a working nurse (20+years) I need to get back to 100% range of motion, and I believe I am finally giving my neck, shoulders and aching back the care it deserves. I've been a patient of Dr. Ishitani for a long time. My leg was numb when visiting to her office at first time and she examined not only a numbness of the leg, but also whole body and explained the treatments/adjustments which made me feel comfortable. I was completely back to normal after few visits. Since then, I've continued to take her treatments for any symptoms (the migraine, stiff neck and shoulders and TMJ).

The best chiropractor in Fort Lee. Found them by chance 4 years ago when I had a acute back problem. Dr. Mika in particular was excellent and helped me get back pain free and in perfect condition. Now my entire family goes there whenever we have an issue (chiro related) and she and the team there are truly amazing; caring and treat you like family. Highly recommend!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Park with my wife for months now. I have had lower back and neck pain for years and the military didn't fix it. Dr. Park and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, kind, and the business is ran efficiently. I have recommended Dr. Park to many of my colleagues who attend as well.

I've been a patient for a few months and I'm feeling infinitely better. I've seen a handful of other chiropractors but this is by far the most professional and effective practice I've been to. Check in and check out is a breeze and whether you're in a treatment room or in the waiting room you never feel like they forgot about you. Plenty of parking, appointment times are easy to get, and the staff is always delightful. No complaints.

I love this place! Dr. Mark & Dr. Mika are wonderful!! Mauro is super accommodating and always is so kind and pleasant. Dr. Mark and Dr. Mika are miracle workers. I had a chronic neck condition and they were able to alleviate my pain and show me ways to take care of it at home. They are super thorough and caring. I highly recommend them.

1. Little-to-no waiting for my appointments. This clinic is highly-efficient, clean, and organized. They get you in and out.
2. They don't simply manage my pain; they've put together a plan to get my spine back to being healthy (not just free from pain).
3. My TMJ is gone thanks to Dr. Mika and Dr. Mark. (Other doctors said I needed surgery.)
4. This is a kid-friendly clinic. Whole families are encouraged to come. Breastfeeding is welcome. Kids are playing with trucks. It's all good.

Their Fort Lee office is always modern, clean and efficient. Yes, it can get very busy on a Saturday but Mauro and the staff always make it a pleasant experience.
