We arrived during the holidays but the hotel was surprisingly not busy. All of the hotel staff were super friendly. The decor was mexico- themed as advertised. All of the amenities were as stated except the firepit was never lit during our stay. We would have enjoyed roasting smores. To be honest, this hotel seemed a bit overrated. Just a glorified and over priced La Quinta Inn. The room was pretty clean but the carpet was horrible. I think all hotels should get rid of carpet at this point especially if it's not fully cleaned and sanitized. The refrigerator had no freezer but was FULLY stocked

Outstanding service, outstanding facilities and ambiance out of this world. Great location close to everything and in the middle of everything, yet it felt like it’s own little world inside. Brenna at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, my new go to hotel in DFW.
Ps. This is the third time we stay in a Valencia Hotel and just like the one in Austin, it is amazing!

If you need a place to stay convenient to Las Colinas, Grapevine, or DFW airport, this is it. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has a restaurant, and on Friday and Saturday nights there is usually live music. The rooms are comfortable and the ambiance is like being in small town Texas or New Mexico. Recommended!

This hotel is awesome. If you're staying in the Las Calinas area of Dallas you have to consider this hotel. It's retro design is so cool and you can't beat all the common areas to hang out. Add to that the restaurant, tequila bar, beer garden and pool, you can't beat this spot. I highly recommend it.

Mo at the Tequila bar made my stay 5 stars. Hospitality is all about making you feel at home and even though I have social anxiety, the moment I stepped into Mo’s tequila bar she welcomed me with a big ole “hey! Welcome in!” The hotel was also great and super cute but she definitely is an amazing staff member and I’d honestly consider rebooking just because of her.

We arrived at our weekend reservation and found our room had no hot water. We immediately notified the front desk. After nearly 1 hour we still had no hot water so we made a visit to the front desk. They acted… like they were unaware of the issue and could not tell us what was being done to remedy the issue. We canceled our reservation and booked a room across the street at the Westin!

Me and my husband were there to celebrate 8 years last night we had room 355 and we woke up to our room infested with wasp!! they were in the bed the bathroom the room we had to leave urgently and we told the staff upfront and all they said was you had pest control out last week. Very dissatisfied & disbelief! We loved the scenery and the room but that is unacceptable!

I specifically asked for a room with a bathtub and when we arrived we were told “too bad, not our fault” no bathtubs available. We were assured when booking the reservation that a room with a bathtub would be… no problem. The room itself had disgusting horribly stained carpet and the robes pictured on fb and IG were not in our rooms and when we asked for 2 robes, we were told that they were out! The customer service was lacking to say the least. The girl at the front desk was condescending and rude.

Certainly I had hit my head & felt curious & curiouser as I swung by Cotton Court & was boldly yet, respectfully encountered by a vaguely familiar young gentleman who shook my hand & introduced himself as David...
Aghast & mind surge of all my acquaintances & he proceeded to say the following & in life I can only give mad honor & undying respect for his courage; "I believe we did you wrong at the Texican & I am truly sorry & we owe you a stay & want to make it right." Uncertain if I was going to faint or cry, I just thanked him but, innately

The bartender with the purple hair was amazing!! She was so attentive all night and suggested the perfect drink when I didn't know what I wanted. Her margaritas were some of the best I have ever tasted! I live about 45 minutes away but I will go out if my way to come here again! You can't beat good company and delicious margaritas!

Friendly staff, nice rooms, full-size refrigerators, rocking chairs outside our door overlooking the lovely pool and Bon fire. Comfortable beds and yes a ceiling fan, if you like me and sleep with it on. But… if you don’t like the ceiling fan on, and want to chill from the Texas heat just turn down the ac to 65° and it feels like your raising chinchillas. Great location, in walking distance to convention center, Toyota music center, restaurants, bars, Las Colinas Mustangs, Lake Carolyn, Campion Trails, and romantic Gondola rides. We love it.

This place is FANTASTIC. I was almost swayed to not book here because of a few bad reviews, but ultimately the positive outweighed the bad and I am so glad I took a chance. From the moment you arrive, you feel you entered another place. It has a warm, inviting aesthetic and I immediately felt peaceful. The property is quiet, well maintained, really clean and despite being next to a Highway and many great restaurants, there was no noise that filtered into the room. We stayed on the bottom floor and never heard our neighbors or anything going on outside. The staff was top notch, extremely friendly

We stayed one night here as we were in town for a concert at Toyota Music Factory. Conveniently located within walking distance of the venue and right across the street from the convention center. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was super nice. Room was clean. The door lock was tricky to work as the lock kept sticking but we figured it out. Minibar was fully stocked and stayed that way because the prices were astronomical. They definitely need better trash cans. I like that the hotel is green but that was a little extra. People traveling will always have more trash than normal. Parking was

This property was very unique. The Mexican hacienda decor and theme were creative and gorgeous. Beautiful grounds. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Nice location. Super happy hour at the cute little bar.… Great food and bar tender, Reynaldo. It was more expensive than what we usually pay, and was only at about 30% occupancy. It kind of seemed like a transformed old motel. The buildings should be marked better, especially on the back sides where parking is. No ice machines (and weren't told at checkin). Got bagged ice at desk after wandering around. Leaking faucet. Walls are kind of

Really great concept. Overall has a lot of potential to be amazing. Currently pretty good. I think the amount of paid snacks/drinks in the room is a bit overkill but for the right audience (the party crowd) I bet it's effective. Seems like they're trying to find a balance between family and party. We didn't have any issues at all - good stay.

I’ve stayed here twice and have never had any issues. Their staff is very professional and attentive. Marcos from their 2 Mules Cantina goes above and beyond to make sure all guests are very well taken care of with awesome drinks and great food options. I have already booked my next stay and highly suggest this hotel to everyone staying in the DFW area.

The hotel was nice and had a great location. I wish the pool had drink service. BIGGEST thing is the they over charged us $160 in mini-bar charges that we did not do. (I did open one Juice from the mini-bar,… however it was EXPIRED! And my husband had 1 can of Shiner which wasn’t even on there!) They did remove the $160 after we called to complain, but this is the now the SECOND time this has happened to us at a Valencia Group Hotel! This also happened to us in College Station, and also like 8 of our buddies who got rooms at the same location. This seems to be a common business practice

Best hotel in DFW! The beautiful courtyards and fire pits almost make you forget that you’re in a metroplex. I love the old Southwest feel and architecture. Rooms are spacious and the full sized vintage fridge adds a nice touch. The best thing about this hotel, however, and the reason why we keep coming back is definitely the staff. Marcos, Edgar, Rosalio, and Cheyenne treat us like family and are perfect examples of customer service/hospitality. Thank you for making our trips memorable!

We have stayed at The George and the Calvary in college station least 4 times and really love them both, they are really amazing. So needless to say, we were super excited to stay at Texican court since they are also owned and run by Valencia Hotel group. And to be honest we expected a similar experience but it was not. It was almost the opposite.
Sort answer to your question of should you stay here... it's a cool spot, but I would avoid it at all costs if they tell you they don't have many rooms left because that means they are fully booked and very busy. The overall impression that

I've stayed at this hotel several times and have looked over some things due to covid but this is the last straw, every time I stay here the bedding is stained along with the carpet. There is already used items in my room and this last time there was bugs crawling around. The woman at the front desk didn't seem to care much and told me there was nothing she could do, then told me to email someone about it... Worst customer service, I do not recommend this hotel unless you like staying in an unkept space....which during covid is already not a good sign... Seems like they would be taking

It's the little things that make the difference. I travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of different hotels. As far as chains go Marriotts are hard to beat for me. I thought I would take a chance with this hotel and I'm so glad I did. It's got a very nostalgia look to the outside but very modern inside. You can tell from the pictures how quaint it is. Some of the little details that they pay attention to are soft toilet paper and Kleenex tissues Like most of keep in our home. Also they don't use a water saver in the shower. You get plenty of pressure and it's very roomy
