Since 1892, Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home has been known for honesty and competence from the moment our services are requested. Over a century of dedicated care and attention to detail at a fair and affordable price has earned us a reputation of trust and compassion.
Ten years after Judge and Mrs. J. A. Lynch founded Mineral Wells in 1882, Benjamin Holland and Bettie Clements Lattner opened their furniture store and funeral home. Both are licensed embalmers and members of the (Texas) State Undertaker's Association. Mr. Lattner has been in the furniture and undertaking business all his life and therefore he is thoroughly posted in all of its branches.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provided describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Rual and his family moved to Mineral Wells in 1974 from MT. Pleasant, TX, to work at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home and make Mineral Wells his home. He graduated from Daingerfield High School, received his BBA from Texas A & M at Commerce and graduated from Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1971.

Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner is absolutely amazing. Making arrangements for a loved one is never easy, but the caring staff is there for you every step of the way. They answered all my question, and guided me through the process with compassion and understanding. Definitely would recommend them for you and your loved ones.

I would highly recommend Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner funeral home to anyone. Charity Garland was so amazing and so beyond helpful dealing with my mothers death. I live in New Mexico and during the Covid-19 pandemic I did everything over phone text and email. They were willing to work with me the whole way through. I didn’t have to deal with anything really. Charity was a life saver. So looking for a funeral home should be a easy decision. And thank you all.

This place is the worst place you could EVER choose to pick for a loved one who has passed. They are unsympathetic and negligent. Every employee needs to make sure they have their eyes checked or prescribed the right glasses because clearly they don’t see anything that’s going on in this funeral home. Do not do business with them save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere a place that will actually pay attention to every single detail! I’m sure if it was their own loved one they would of had everything organized!!!!! Jesus is definitely watching your EVERY Move .
