Services
We believe that children learn and grow best in the context of nurturing relationships and that families are the most important influence on a child's development. This belief is supported by recognizing that each child brings to the program his or her own family values and culture. Our caring staff works together with parents to form partnerships in order to learn more about each child and discover how best to facilitate the child's development.
The curriculum we provide incorporates essential factors to insure the quality of the program. The Creative Curriculum is responsive and sensitive to each child's individual needs. Family involvement is highly supported by our staff. Our curriculum is based on ongoing assessments.

We believe the ability to read is important to every child's success in school. As each child is unique, it is important to keep in mind that learning to read is different for every child. We give children the necessary reading and writing skills to make them better readers and writers. We focus on a school readiness in-depth understanding of what children need to be successful in school.
Headstart: We are contracted with Plaza De La Raza Child Development Services, Inc. In collaboration with Plaza De La Raza, we offer FREE headstart preschool services to serve children between the ages of 3-5 years old. Preschool: Our preschool program operates September-June. The age criteria is 3-5 years of age.
Creative Minds Preschool & Kindergarten offers an exciting and educational summer program specifically designed for children between the ages of 3-7 years of age to help them retain the skills they have learned during the school year. The Ready to Read Summer Program is designed for children of all ages, from beginning readers to independent readers.

It has been a prayer answered finding Creative Minds when I needed to find affordable reading tutoring for my 1st grader. Denise has helped my son so greatly with his reading comprehension. During the summer he learned so much from Denise and went up a few levels in ready competency. My son enjoys reading tutoring and gets so excited when he can read books, signs and instructions. Denise is so kind and very accommodating with scheduling. I recommend her 100%.

My son first started attending Creative Minds in the summer of 2015, he had just finished Pre-School at his current school. And with all the respect the teachers deserve NOT all teachers are meant to teach our little ones and my son's first experience in a school environment was not very positive. When he first attended Teacher Denise's class he was very distrusting in teachers, and really disliked school, however by his 3rd day he had not only regained his trust in teachers but was learning to enjoy school. My son attended Creative Minds during the 2014-2015 school year. We were 100% satisfied with the education that he received there. The teachers are dedicated to the education and well being of the students. This is evident in the constant parent communication and frequent parent conferences. In addition, field trips were organized around the themes to give the students an opportunity to experience their learning in the real world. We will always treasure the experience my son had at Creative Minds.
