Contact Lens Exam - The field of optometry changes quickly, and now many more patients are able to enjoy the flexibility of wearing contact lenses to correct their vision. Contact lens exams include tests that are not always performed in regular eye exams, so if you are considering contact lenses, be sure to let us know when you schedule your exam.
Frames - Glasses, more than ever, say a lot about your personality, style, and fashion. Selecting the right frames can be confusing and daunting, especially for first time patients. Our staff has a great deal of experience helping patients find the best frames for them - taking into account budget, medical needs, lifestyle, and appearance.
Sunglasses - Sunglasses are designed to protect your eyes from sunlight. While all tinted lenses help to protect your eyes from sunlight, some will protect your eyes better than others. Sunglasses with lenses that block ultraviolet sunlight are the best option. Although sunglasses can be expensive, there are many affordable brands that provide great protection from harmful sunlight as well.

Doctor is alway more abrasive than necessary for the situation. He doesn’t seem to appreciate children around much either. We’ve been going here for three years. Pretty much the same experience each time. Never friendly, almost the opposite, nearly rude. This last visit was even less enjoyable than normal. It’s time to explore other options. It’s unfortunate too because he does keep his appointments and the place is never that busy.

Very pleased with my experience coming to Apple Eye Care. From making an appointment, to when I arrive. The courtesy phone calls are a great way of reminding you of your appointment. I went to renew my prescription and also to get fitted for contact lenses. Dr. Applebaum is a professional eye car specialist who I implicitly trust to care best for my vision and Eye Health. Prices are very reasonable and I was seen quickly on all three of my visits to his clinic.

Brought the entire family for Eye Exams. I don’t understand how many reviews say the MD is condescending and rude because I actually thought the opposite. He had so much patience working with all three of my daughters, including my sometimes bratty 4 year old. The entire staff is super friendly and I would definitely recommend Apple Eye Care.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The staff was amicable and efficient, making the entire process very easy and painless. Dr. Applebaum not only spent a good deal of time to comb through my results, but also patiently explained all of the findings. He was incredibly professional, and kind. I typically get nervous going to any doctors appts, but I can honestly say I left this office with a smile on my face. Thank you Apple Eye Care!

From a patient safety perspective, this team gets top scores. They washed their hands, sanitized equipment before using on me, and explained all procedures. The doctor showed me the results of my comprehensive exam and provided detailed and understandable explanation of what he was seeing. We recently moved to El Paso and I'm very happy to have found the right place for my annual eye exams.

Dr. Apple Baum has been taking care of my eyes going on 5 years. I’ve always received excellent service. He’s very attentive to details. Which for me meant him correcting a previous prescription that was too strong! Thank you! My children now also see him. He is very patient and makes them feel very comfortable. After a bad experice at another optometrist Apple Eye Care was a breath of fresh air. The assistant was super understanding, quick, professional and kind to my 6 year old(who was having the exam). Dr. Applebaum was also phenomenal, he explained everything and was really caring to my son. I've recommended anyone I can to come to Apple Eye Care. It is a bit of a drive for us but totally worth it for the care and transparency of the staff.

I am very disappointed with the patient bedside manner of Dr. Applebaum. He was condescending and confrontational, and I felt criticized and judged. He spoke to me as if I was a child and reprimanded me in an unprofessional way when I didn't follow his guidance exactly. I've never had a doctor make me feel like this, and I definitely won't be returning for future eye care needs.

I called to schedule eye appointments for myself and two of my kids. They were able to get us in that afternoon. We were very happy with the courtesy and attentiveness of the receptionist/tech. Dr. Applebaum seemed very thorough and knowledgeable. It took 2 hours to get three of us through, but there was not wasted time. Glad to have found an eye doctor to settle with.

I had my first and last appointment at the Apple Eye care center this afternoon. I found Dr. Applebaum to be condescending and disrespectful. I expressed my dissatisfaction with his bedside manner and he was dissmisive and unapologetic. If you are a patient who values doctor/patient rapport, I recommend that you visit Dr. Bosetti at the Walmart Vision Center on N. Mesa instead.

I was referred to Apple Eye Care by a co-worker. I was skeptical at first because I have been going g to my previous eye doctor for over 16 years. I was able yo schedule my husband, son and my appointment all on the same day. My husband and I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Applebaum explained everything to you and made sure we understood. His medical assistant was super nice. I really recommend everyone to go get your eyes checked by Dr. applebaum. If you want the family feel and personalized care this is the place. Thank you so much to the Dr. and his staff. I will definitely be divorcing

Dr Applebaum and his staff were all friendly and very professional. I liked that he informed me of extra cost that was or wasn't covered by my insurance. I have been going to him for years because I know that he is very thorough on his exams. He has always given me my prescription with the option to choose glasses else where. And was available to my husband when he need emergency services.

Still have not received the correct prescription on my glasses..Went in Aug 3...told me it should be ready in a week..not what I asked for..no line bifocals..came back with lined..sent back again..waited again..still wrong..sent out again..now I can't use them at all! Went to 2 other optometrists...told me glasses were not my prescription..
Should have gone with my gut instinct when I walked in..looked around..all the display glasses were dirty with smudged fingerprints..No professional jacket on Dr...
Still have $390 pair the f glasses I cannot see with!

The doctor is good but as usual in El Paso his staff is not. I tried them for a couple of years. The first year it took a week for my glasses to get mailed in and they called me the afternoon that they came in and told me I could pick them up the next day. I went the next day and found a sign that said they closed that day at noon after driving 17 miles across town. The next year they failed to let me know my blood sugar levels should be normal and I forgot (high blood sugars change your vision) and ate before my appt so the doctor told me I would have to come back and told me his staff should
