An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication. Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.
Want to get a health checkup without going to the doctor? We offer onsite health screenings that allow you to get more information on your health without having to make a trip to the doctor. Our highly qualified staff can provide these screenings to give you more information on your health, health goals, and ways to reach those goals.
You may find that you have been prescribed a number of medications, and that you need to take them at different times of the day. It can be difficult to keep track of what medication you need to take and when. We offer a multi-dose packaging that bundles your medications together by date and time. For example, all your medications that are to be taken in the morning will be packaged together in one pack.

Wife was in pain due to a new medical treatment and I frantically called many retail and hospital pharmacies to fill a compound RX mouthwash, but they couldn't. Finally called SJ Compounding and they filled it super fast, though was late in the day! Folks there were very helpful and friendly - asked about wife too. Incompetent fools. Promised urgently needed medication by Wednesday, then Thurs, then Friday, then Sat. Then Monday... Nope, still don't have it. They are liars, just stringing you along. No intention of delivering the items to you in a timely way. I am registering a formal complaint with the BBB. Avoid this company like the plaque.

If you are considering this place, please find any other place that treats customers with respect. The medicine delivered was stolen and I called for a replacement. I would have paid again if they had denied they cant replace for free "with respect". The person was so rude to the extent that he meant it was my responsibility to loose the package. Your customers are often patients who have a lot going on already. Learn to show compassion, respect and learn some basic customer service skills.

Called specifically to ask if they could fill my particular prescription and was told yes they could no problem. As they requested I had my doctor fax the prescription over. I followed up with a call and was told they couldn't find it and someone would call me back. No call back. So again at their request I emailed it. But now another 48 hrs has passed. several hours after emailing (they never found the fax...though I know for a fact my doctor sent it to the right place), they sent another note saying they don't have it in stock after all and I should try another pharmacy. 4 days

I came in from out of town needing a special compound. My Dr. sent me here. They were so kind and were able to accommodate me in a timely manner since I had come from far away. They were informative and compassionate. They even called a week later to check on me. I really appreciate their customer service, I genuinely feel like they care about their patients.

This Pharmacy is extremely unreliable they promised to have my delivery made and delivered the next day yet they three times in a row called me to tell me that they would need one more day to make my prescription. After a week of back and forth the prescription that was mailed by their delivery service was lost. This Pharmacy still took my money. I don't have my prescription and a very very unhappy customer. It's one thing if there's a fly in your Jamba juice it's another thing if you're promised your prescription medications and told every day that you will get them tomorrow

Our dog, Gordon, needed antibiotics sooner rather than later and the staff at San Jose Compounding Pharmacy treated me and the pup as if we were the only customers the had. I have to get my chihuahuas medication compounded and used to use Diamondback drugs since that's what my veterinary used but had so many issues with them that I decided to try another place. I've only used SJ compounding twice but so far they have been professional and quick! Only down side is that it's a tad pricey. Overall recommend them especially for your pets pharmacy needs!

Yesterday I called for pricing on my compounded medications and got one price then a few minutes later somebody called me back and gave me a very different price. Today I called again for pricing on a different number of days prescription and got yet a different price so I asked to speak to the pharmacist for a more definitive answer. John, who said he's the pharmacy manager, said he can't give me an exact price - only a "ballpark range" (with a variance of 25%!) until he has the prescription in hand (despite the fact that I was reading the uncomplicated prescription to him

My cat has thyroid disease and he will NOT take pills. I get his medicine into liquid form.
They have been good to me!
I have a major back surgery and and I couldn't pick up the medication, they mailed it to me, free of charge for several months.
It's nice to have people that understand and care about me and my pet.

I have used these guys twice. Both times, I called ahead and asked if my prescription was ready. Both times, they said that it was. And both times is wasn't.
In both instances, I had to wait 25-35 minutes while they started and finished my order.
So, if you enjoy spending time in a waiting room, these are your guys. If you value your time at all, I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your prescriptions.

My first time dealing with San Jose Compounding Pharmacy was great. The pharmacist i dealt with was very friendly and accommodating. I work long hours and they provide delivery to your work. Time to find a new place. Two times my prescription has been wrong and three times it had taken more than a week. Plus even though they call me and tell me it is ready it isn't ready when I get there. When I asked if they were going to resolve these issues the rude cashier completely blew me off. Why am I paying to be treated like this?

If I could give them a zero I would. Ever since they have switched ownership instead of getting better the quality and service has plummeted. I have now waited over a month for them to fill a prescription for my child. I drive to the pharmacy which is not conveniently located to my home. Every time I arrive there is a different excuse for why it's not ready. I have literally waited more than a month to get a completed prescription!. It is not because they did not have the medication it is because of pure mismanagement and neglectful practice. How do I report this to a regulatory body beyond

I was interested in transferring over a compounded prescription because my usual pharmacy (Safeway Compounding) was going out of network for my insurance. The woman who I talked to on the phone was very kind, took my info, and called me back promptly with pricing. But after that I got a call from a man who said that I should disregard the pricing that the woman gave me, and that I should "call him back if I'm serious about getting the prescription". Please don't jump to conclusions! This is from Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic (they talked to the owner directly): there's a guy who uses a wheelchair and goes around to several pharmacies and sues them if they don't have a wheelchair ramp. They were sued, they immediately built a ramp but, because the construction of the ramp blocks the main entry, they were fined by the Fire marshal. Amid all this, the owner had a death in the family and had to travel. So they closed it temporarily but they will be back. Until this thing, I had only good experiences with them, they seemed like a professional

They seemed like a professional and knowledgeable bunch. I had the same prescription filled at a veterinary clinic and my cat spits it out. When they made it, it was much more palatable. I had used Santa Clara Drug in the past and when I moved back to the Bay Area, I tried to get my prescription transferred back to them from another pharmacy.

The customer service here depends on who you speak to.
I unfortunately, had to deal with Gary on two accounts and he is not a pleasant person.
When I went to pick up the prescription, he did not inform me of any instructions about the medication and when I got home, I realized it had to be mixed by a pharmacist, given that it has to be mixed in a controlled temperature environment; which means I have to make a trip back to the location.
The worst was when he didn't take any accountability and gave attitude when I called and inquired about it. He said the medication needed to be mixed when

We have a dog and it was sick. It was a hard to give it its medicine. I talked to a friend who referred me to this pharmacy. I asked them to make this drug as a suspension cause the drug was capsule. They told me that can do flavors too, so I asked them to put beaf flavor. I was amazed with the service and the speed. They called me back in 3 hours to tell me it was ready to be picked up.

This is one of the best compounding pharmacies I have been to. Staff is professional and Pharmacist was very knowledgable. I needed medication for my dog. My vet called it in and I went there 24 hours later. You have to understand that compouded medications are not the same as retail meds you get at walgreens or rite aid. They are custom made for your pet and if you are not going to show up they will not make it as it will be a waste. It is specific for my dog. It takes time to make them hence give them 24 hours atleast. Great service and professionalism that next to none!
